The Saudi royal family kicked Osama out of the country in 1992 and stripped him of his citizenship in 1994. They also pressured the bin laden family to cut off his $7 million annual stipend. And that was seven years prior to 9/11.

Al Queda has been actively "going after the ruling class" for more than a decade. We share intelligence and security tips with the Saudis so we can help each other counter the threat - or at least we did, before Obama fucked up our relationship.
