Tara can you give us an example of a lifetime ban of a user, other than the multiple handle situations as mentioned?

Bigdog0311 was banned for outing. He keeps trying to get back on and then kicked off again.

FWOG was also banned for life but he predates me a but here so not sire of the reason.

The point of the word "supposedly" is that everyone I know of who has received a "lifetime ban" is either back under their original name, or back under a new name THAT EVERYONE IS AWARE OF. So, based on that, I'd have to say that it is only in name and not in reality.

He is back using a different name. I believe the mods were notified but he's still here.

trying to drive us back on topic. I think it's clear to truly be banned for life takes a lot. there are probably only a handful of people who are truly banned from this. many handles do sneak back on but when they are caught they are banned again.

the point was how we manage and report people who we think are from group 2 while not causing grief for people from group 1
