They're building them. I can't say if they're filling them.

With a measley 18,000 new jobs added last month, Obama's outrage over the Republicans just isn't working and he is looking more and more like the emperor-without-any-clothes he actually is... let's recap:

-His economic policy has produced an unemployment rate of 9.2%
-He has expanded us into a 3rd war
-His contributions to the national debt is a 50% increase from Bush, or $5 Trillion, and counting...
-A record number of Americans on Food Stamps
-He has not produced a plan to save Medicare
-He has not passed a budget to run the country
-Sky high gas prices
-He continues to divide Americans in his "haves-have not" speeches

If he only worked as hard on the ailing economy and hurting Americans as he has on his re-election campgain......90% of Obama Travel Related To His Re-Election...........

Another disassociated fact story. Make a statement with no context. 90% of his travel is at least partially political. 22 of his trips have fundraisers? Good reporters would tell us the raw data. You know, like how many trips were non-political at first but had a fundraiser added because the location of the fundraiser was near the flight path of original trip? In that case it would be efficient use of his time. But who knows specifics of planning the trips? Why compare apples to oranges to strawberries? Like the following from the article.

“These practices are not unique to Obama. George W. Bush also scheduled heavy travel for political purposes at taxpayer expense in the first half of 2003, as he prepared to run for reelection.

But Bush traveled a handful (a whole or partial handful?) of times less frequently than Obama and only held four fundraisers (so Bush traveled for political reasons other than fundraisers. What’s the point?) outside Washington. He also made more purely non-political journeys (149 flights to Camp David) than Obama, including trips to then-relatively safe GOP states like (77 flights to his ranch) Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia and flight to Illinois, a state he could not have hoped to win.”

This isn’t as bad as the weekly standard article but it still isn’t in support of any of the points you try to raise.

The Slacker Gold Standard

This makes me sick. Bush spent 1020 days/part of day (out of 2920) at Crawford, Camp David, or in Maine (at parents). Over one third of his 2 terms. This is a Cal Ripkin jr or Brett Favre type longevity record. No one will break the Bush vacation record.

If the choice were to cut off Medicade to granny or let the child go without...granny would lose that battle.

Hard choices are needed remember?

I would cut off Medicade to an old woman on her death bed to help a chid 10 times outta 10.

Why are you saying that is not the logical thing to do?

What would you do let the kid starve and granny live a few more weeks 'till they both were dead? That does not seem to smart in my book.

It is the logical thing to do. And it is a hard choice to make. That being said, we are no closer to having picked what to do.
To me, this is similar to the abortion issue (metaphorically, whirlguy). I am anti-abortion but pro-choice. There are few instances where I have a choice about treatment for me or mine. I will make choices when they are required of me. Everyone else has to make their own choices.

You're hilarious. You portray Republicans as heartless by wanting to cut off Medicare THEN you say cut off Medicare!

So now you are now a Republican?

Again, you take something I wrote, try to build a false argument out of it. I wrote about cutting back. YOU wrote about cutting off.

When is Obama going to find that 80-200 billion in annual Medicare/Medicaid fraud he has touted for the past 2 years?

A response To Whirl's bogus claims:
-His economic policy has produced an unemployment rate of 9.2%
Whirl what percentage of the 9.2% is the direct result of the Bush years??? You act as if Obama took office and the UE rate was 4%- 9.2 is lower than what is was when he got in office and lower than the 15% that experts said it could reach.
-He has expanded us into a 3rd war
How many American combat boots are on Libyan soil or better yet how many American casualties so far in this so called 3rd war? I rest my case!!!
-His contributions to the national debt is a 50% increase from Bush, or $5 Trillion, and counting...
Based on the bullshit he had the fix from Bush's fuck up
-A record number of Americans on Food Stamps
Hmmmm I wonder why these americans had to get on food stamps- I guess it had nothing to do with Bush's illustrious years huh? Bush had record low UE and in your world we had the lowest % of people on Food Stamps during Bush's years right?
-He has not produced a plan to save Medicare
Yes he has but at least he doesn't want to destroy a la the Ryan plan
-He has not passed a budget to run the country
Yes he has and at least he doesn't want to give a tax break to the richest 2 % or give corporations big tax breaks- again Whirl did you get a tax break under Bush or Obama?
-Sky high gas prices
Wow this is laughable- were you on this planet from 2004 to 2008- if so were you buying gas at a dollar a gallon or something? You act as if Bush had us paying record low gasoline prices. Also, we have told you that the President doesn't control oil prices- it's set globally by Opec and various other factors- if the President controlled Oil prices don't you think during re-election year they would lower to record lows each time? Explain how Obama can control oil prices Whirl? Is he going to tell Saudia Arabia, Nigeria, and the Soviet Union that if they don't increase their production he's going to nuke them? Get serious Whirl- the only possible way to lower them- is long term invest in alternate fuel and short term release from the strategic reserves- oh but you don't like the idea of releasing from the reserves because some right wing article said although we will have cheaper gas it will cause tax payers millions lol?
-He continues to divide Americans in his "haves-have not" speeches
Wow Divide Americans-lol Who was the party that said Obama wasn't even born here? What party has a melting pot of all races/nationalities/sexual preferences as their core and what party pretty much has majority White males? What party has a radio show host who said he hopes Obama fails? What party uses the term "Un- American" and "Un-Patriotic" if you don't believe in their values and policies? Who cheered when the Unites States didn't get the Olympic bid in Chicago? What party since 2008 has been known as the party of "NO" and literally has gotten nothing done- where there only job is to be against everything Obama or the Dems put out? What party has constantly spit in the face of the face of the middle class time and time again with tax breaks to the wealthy and not a single thing to help the middle class?
Whirl you are so brainwashed that it isn't funny- unless your bank account has 7 digits you are cheering for a party that will not benefit you. Please turn off Rush and comeback to reality. You and Rush are not on the same page- he's a millionaire many times over and doesn't know what the middle class is going through- he sits on his fat ass in an air conditioned studio feeding you right wing zombies bullshit basically scaring you into believing we are about to become socialist and that future generations of America will be destroyed by Obama and you buy into this bullshit. You see Rush doesn't have to worry about gas prices- you do- Rush doesn't have to worry about Health insurance- but people like you do- Rush would rather pay less taxes to you because he believes he's rich and entitled to paying lower taxes. Wake up Whirl!!!
If he only worked as hard on the ailing economy and hurting Americans as he has on his re-election campgain......90% of Obama Travel Related To His Re-Election...........

I wrote the facts. The fact is Grandma is either:
1) Not paying enough taxes into SS/Medicare or

2) She needs to understand that she will have to deal with end of life issues or Death Panels as the idiots like to potray them.

When is Obama going to find that 80-200 billion in annual Medicare/Medicaid fraud he has touted for the past 2 years?

There is a % of fraud in every system/company. You figure out a way to market honesty and rid the world of greed and you will be a rich man. Well not rich because you would give your idea away

Probably long before we find those weapons of mass destruction.

Probably long before we find those jobs that the Bush tax cuts were supposed to create.

Probably long before the Republicans decide they'd prefer to help the country succeed, rather than force the President to fail.

And probably long before whirlaway learns how to use spell-check.

You still don't get it. Its not the math, its the political will. Social Security was started under FDR, Medicaid under LBJ. Those folks knew the system was doomed it was just a matter of when. For the past 30 years I've said I'm not depending on Social Security for my retirement, but after contributing $150K+ into the system, I want to see value for my investment.

But you want to throw Granny under the bus and call the Republicans heartless.

Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid was always a matter of "when" not "if." Its happened on Obama's watch - accept it. They were Dim plans and the chickens are coming home to roost on a Dim president.

Then you are so self-involved that you think people are STUPID. Folks have been saying that SS/Med have been doomed for decades! Even after Reagan passed regulations postponing the inevitable.

But WTF saw it coming! We're just "late to the party." And his solution is throw Granny under the bus! And call the Republicans "Heartless" and "The Party of 'NO'".

Fuckin' HILARIOUS! Welcome to the Republican Party WTF!

Always fun to duel with you Wellendowed:

You act as if Obama took office and the UE rate was 4%- 9.2 is lower than what is was when he got in office and lower than the 15% that experts said it could reach. This is now Obama's economy, so man up. Christina Roomer, chair of Obama's Economic Council issued a report that charted without the $1 trillion Obama stimulus unemployment would be 8.5%, but with the stimulus unemployment wouldn't go above 8%. With the Obama stimulus we are now over 9.2% (peak of 10%). When Obama took office in Jan-2009 the rate was 7.8%; if you consider this trend a success I can't help you. And I guarantee that the Obama re-election campgain is losing sleep over the troulbing numbers !

-He has expanded us into a 3rd war
How many American combat boots are on Libyan soil or better yet how many American casualties so far in this so called 3rd war? I rest my case!!! Ok, he expanded us into a 3rd "military action"
-His contributions to the national debt is a 50% increase from Bush, or $5 Trillion, and counting...
Based on the bullshit he had the fix from Bush's fuck up. Like I said, man up, it's Obama's economy and Obama's debt !
-A record number of Americans on Food Stamps
Hmmmm I wonder why these americans had to get on food stamps- I guess it had nothing to do with Bush's illustrious years huh? Bush had record low UE and in your world we had the lowest % of people on Food Stamps during Bush's years right? That same cycle of blame Bush just doesn't work anymore Wellendowed, Americans gave Obama the honeymoon and he blew it on a failed stimulus package that went to help his Democratic buddies (unions) and pork barrel politics. It didn't produce the employment he claimed it would- shit we just found out this week that stimulus money was used to fund the brewing ATF Guns to Mexico scandal...the stimulus was the program that Joe Biden was managing like a hawk, remember...Joe B who thinks JOBS is a three letter word ! The stimulus was poorly manged and Obama flushed our hard earned tax dollars down the drain.

-He has not produced a plan to save Medicare
Yes he has but at least he doesn't want to destroy a la the Ryan plan.. Please post the link to the Obama Plan to save Medicare. And his Obamacare is going to gut Medicare by at least $500 billion with other unintended consequenses!

-He has not passed a budget to run the country
Yes he has and at least he doesn't want to give a tax break to the richest 2 % or give corporations big tax breaks- again Whirl did you get a tax break under Bush or Obama? Again, He has not passed a budget, his last budget was voted down 97-0 in the Senate. But if you can provide me to a link that shows a different vote count that approved an Obama budget I will acknowledge it.

I think the current gas prices speak for it self. Obama has closed down gulf oil operations which is contributing to the high prices (and economic pain), as well as his non war in Libya, his failed Iran policy, and his mismanagement of the Middle East spring uprisings. He is not trusted and viewed as a weak President in the oil capitals around the world. And OPEC is taking every advantage of his weakenss.

-He continues to divide Americans in his "haves-have not" speeches
Wow Divide Americans-lol Who was the party that said Obama wasn't even born here? What party has a melting pot of all races/nationalities/sexual preferences as their core and what party pretty much has majority White males? Whirl you are so brainwashed that it isn't funny- unless your bank account has 7 digits you are cheering for a party that will not benefit you. You wraped alot of things into one. I definelty don't have a 7 digit bank account. But then, I am not one that wants more freebies from my government....The mess we are in is because more people are in the cart yelling faster, faster, to those who are pulling the cart. It is widely agreed that the Democrats use class as a wedge issue. Just as Republicans use abortion....don't deny it, it just weakens your arguements...and wanting your opponent to fail isn't class warfare, just as the birth certificate wasn't. I am curious, what is the tax rate that you want on the "wealthy"? How much more of the federal government revenue should they pay? I think all Americans are already over taxed and it is time to get the spending undercontrol in Washingoton. More revenue isn't the solution. Less spending is !
