Like having consensual, extra-marital sex with a porn star and a Playmate. OMG, nobody on Eccie would ever approve of that!
Sexual assault can be very serious and traumatizing. It can also be stretched to mean a lot of things, including unwanted kisses, which is apparently what many of Trump's accusers have alleged. A masher is not the same as a rapist. But I can understand why, if you are consumed with hatred of the guy, you would try to conflate the two.

LOL Nice Try
Presumption of innocence (innocent until proven guilty) doesn't mean what you think it does. It's a legal concept that means a person is not guilty of a specific offense until proven so by a court of law. You said Trump would never have sex with an underage girl, but presumption of innocence has nothing to do with what someone would do or wouldn't do. Look at anyone who has been convicted of a crime for the first time as an example. Before they were convicted they were presumed innocent, but that didn't mean that they would never commit the crime in question.
Talk about derangement. Many of you Trumpeters will just say anything, regardless of if its true,as long as it fits your narrative. I do hate the guy, and it's quite patriotic to hate having a scumbag in the white house, but I'm not consumed with hate, and would never make stuff up the way you just did. Notice I said MAYBE Trump too. It was not a definitive statement like the one you made.

Sorry to introduce a fact into your Staff edit. dj8 , but it was actually hijacked into a bash Clinton post. I just responded by pointing out that Trump could have done it too. After all, he once praised the guy and admitted that he has the same taste in young women as him, and then at a later date tried to pretend that he didn't know him. This was the first post that put a political spin on it, and it wasn't an anti Trump post:

First, I don't need you to tell me what presumption of innocence means. It's actually more than just a legal concept. It's an underpinning of our civil society. If we strip away this presumption in our everyday dealings with each other, we lower the bar further in our broken political and civil life. Everyone on the planet has the potential to do good or bad every day. Would it upset you if someone spread a rumor that you "might" be a serial killer? You seem to think it's ok to accuse anyone of anything - as long as you qualify the rumor by putting a "maybe" in front of it.
I will concede I can't definitively guarantee trump won't wake up tomorrow and do what Epstein is accused of. I can't definitively say you won't either. Or himzert. Or me. Or anyone else on this board. So let's just go ahead and let the shit fly. We might as well accuse everyone we disagree with politically of the most heinous crimes imaginable based on the flimsiest of evidence, or no evidence at all. May the most clever smear merchant win! That's the kind of society you are endorsing.
And no, it's NOT patriotic to hate the guy in the White House. It's patriotic to criticize and dissent and offer constructive solutions and counter-arguments. Hate clouds your thinking. It makes you less rational, less objective, less thoughtful, less articulate, and less capable of finding common ground. But hey, at least it makes you feel good and the name-calling is temporarily cathartic.
dj8rocks - fyi I am trying to keep the discussion going without being "off-topic". There are several threads about Epstein in the Political Forum.

At best would be consensual and pleasurable.
At strip clubs, guys PAY to have a girl grab 'em by the crotch. But that's different, right?

I’m not “deranged” about anything. Which is an insult and not in accordance to the rules here., I don’t care who said what first. The fact of the matter is, posters made this about people other than Epstein. At this time, it’s Epstein who’s been indicted. Until others are implicated, I’ll hold my powder. Carry on.
BTW, Trump said Epstein liked beautiful women, just like Trump. But Epstein preferred younger ones. Get your facts straight.

Trump banned Epstein from Mara Largo. Actions always speak louder than words.

You didn't mind reposting a meme calling others deranged, so you have some nerve crying about the rules.
As for what Trump said, lets just set the record straight. His praise of Epstein was effusive but left it unclear whether he meant just Epstein or both of them like young women. Here's the actual quote: “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

So you concede that you used presumption of innocence incorrectly in your defense of Trump.

Re-read the rules. You're allowed to use most (not all) epithets against non-members but not other eccie posters. Didn't you just call trumpy a scumbag?

Ok, boys and girls. Welcome to Smear and Innuendo 101.
For your first assignment, please translate, twist and distort the above statement to leave the impression in a reader's mind that the person who uttered it was actually saying "I am a pedophile".

Get this thread back on topic of Jeffrey Epstein. Anymore off topics will be issued hijack infractions due to already receiving public instructions to get back on topic. dj8

DJ, are you going to apply justice equally, just sayin. Just be consistent. But, I guess that’s in the eyes of the beholder. Which is the problem with this thread. Amongst others.
