Either way. WHY would another providers name be brought up in the review itself or the comments left by other hobbiest? STILL a review on a CERTAIN provider, no reason to mention another provider EVEN in comments. Personally, THIS has only happened to ME in ONE review, I was "compared" to another girl and then "opinions" started pouring in and it was pretty annoying bc it was a review ON ME. BUT, that cleared up right quick. Now to a few of my fellow providers (esp the ones who travel more than I do) it does happen quite often, I've seen both the "writer" as well as the guys commenting bring up other names that then goes comp off track and in the end, the review is NOW an advertisement for another provider, in some cases not even Eccie providers at that. They can stick it in the ROS, in the comments or in the review itself, anyway you look at it, its a "distraction" from the provider the review is about.

Pretty consistent so far....I did not consider a poll on this topic, it would allow the leakers to have imput. Would that be worthwile?

I totally agree that it is rude and unnecessary. I never said any differently (in fact I called it "bad taste"). I only jumped in to refute the idea that a review is an ad that tacitly belongs to the provider being reviewed.

Well we have a large set of opinions and I still think that the review is done by a client for information purposes. It belongs to the board and board guidelines are the primary. But it is an asset or liabilty for both sides of the coin and should be treated with respect and respectfully by both sides.
