It wasn't much of a lockdown, now was it? Many cities didn't have a mandatory stay-at-home. Only a small % had mandatory mask policies. Texas, for one, had virtually no real restrictions at all. Lots of people in public without a mask. I'll repeat for those that might require a refresher: "the virus can only move around through people. That means that we spend a lot of effort and time and money cleaning everything we can and being as careful as we can to stop the spread for those 5 weeks.
If the Freedom Loving Americans that were complaining about their rights being trampled had just put on a f'in mask, things would be have been much better. And it was such a small 'ask' of our nation. Wear a mask. Be careful. Take it serious. FOR 5 LOUSY WEEKS! Instead, we're entering Autumn with cases and hospitalizations surging. So sad. So avoidable if our leaders had been on top of it.
