Read the Cato Institute report.
Are there illegals that do not pay taxes? Of course but there are Amercians that pay no taxes and take way more out of the system that illegals.

Here is what the Cato Institute says about immigration: btw they are no left leaning organization.
http://immigrationimpact.com/2012/02/08/cato-institute-analyzes-the-benefits-of-immigration-for-the-united-states-2/
Winter 2012 issue of the Cato Journal is devoted to answering a single question: “Is Immigration Good for America?” In 13 articles, 16 scholars answer with a resounding “Yes!” The consensus is that immigrants provide a net benefit to the U.S. economy and to U.S. workers. There is also a consensus among the authors that the current immigration system, with its patchwork of arbitrary numerical caps, needlessly squanders the full economic potential of immigration. The authors call for a thorough revamping of the immigration system to make it more responsive to labor demand, to attract highly skilled professionals and entrepreneurs, and to offer a pathway to legal status for the unauthorized population.
Here is more detailed look at what immigrants put into the system and what they take out.
http://redalertpolitics.com/2013/02/19/cato-immigration-expert-refutes-popular-reasons-against-immigration-reform/
This table, from a study by Cato and confirmed by the CBO, shows the net fiscal impact of individual immigrants – the taxes they put into the system against the benefits they would collect over the course of their lives.
Less than High SchoolHigh SchoolMore than High SchoolAge 20 $33,000
$146,000
$280,000
Age 21
Age 41 - $141,000
- $32,000
$132,000
In other words, most immigrants will put a lot more into the system than they will take out.
The welfare state primarily benefits the sick, the elderly and women. Most immigrants are healthy, young and men. And the welfare expenditures our government undertakes on those it’s designed to help dwarf that which is spent on immigrants by comparison.

still doesn't excuse them from paying taxes on purchased goods, or property tax (either direct, or indirect) ... illegals, like legal citizens, can and do cheat on their taxes. To say illegals pay NO tax isn't right.

Illegals also drive down wage rates and push Americans in to unemployment. The end result is that this group of workers, illegals, pays only 75% of its "fair share" of income tax (a "guesstimate" by your own "empirical evidence," CBJ7), which further conspires to pay as little as possible in taxes (communal living arrangements, etc.) to support the U.S. communities they burden and which ships an inordinate amount of the money it earns out of this country (reducing government sales tax income) and it further burdens U.S. communities by driving down wages (hence, income taxes) and driving up the domestic unemployment rate.

Horseshit. Illegals do jobs nobody else wants. They clean houses, mow lawns, gut chickens and pigs in slaughter houses and work out in the hot fucking sun all day building the houses other people get to live in. The idea that they take jobs away from US citizens is crap....maybe 30 years ago Americans would have been willing to dig ditches for a living. Not anymore.
Certainly, they don't all pay taxes, but many many of them do. And, a lot of that tax money stays in the treasury when it would normally be refunded to a citizen because they don't file income tax returns. Let's face it. Virtually 100% of these undocumented workers fall into the lowest tax bracket, and as a practical matter, are taxed at a rate that puts them into the lowest paying taxed group.
And, as has already been pointed out, they pay local sales taxes, they pay school taxes if they own property, or at the least, they pay the property owners' taxes with the rent money they pay the property owner, they pay gasoline taxes, etc etc etc.
They also support local businesses. Shit, look at the Fiesta chain of supermarkets in Texas. Those places exist because of illegals and they do a booming business.
We've got plenty of freeloaders. But, hispanics aren't among them. Those people work their asses off for next to nothing. It's too bad some of the white kids these days don't have their work ethic.

Never claimed they didn't, CBJ7, but their burden on American society far and away exceeds any contribution they make through the fractional amount of taxes they do pay: check your own "empirical evidence."

The point, in case you missed it, CBJ7, is the burden illegals place on American society far and away exceeds any cost benefit you equivocatingly ascribe to them, CBJ7.

You’re underscoring the point, Little Timmy. Illegals keep wages for such jobs so low that Americans will not exchange unemployment insurance and social subsidies for real work.
BTW, why your conjecture that "Hispanics are freeloaders"? Not all illegals are Hispanic, and the argument isn't about anybody's work ethic. The argument is about the burden illegals put upon American society.

IB, the Cato institute disagrees with your assessment....

Bullshit, Timmy. Illegals do jobs others would do if the job paid more. They artificially lower the equilibrium point for wages. If illegals were sent home, businesses would have to pay more to have those jobs done. I didn't know you were such a big fan of big business, Timmy. Who knew? You want to help big businesses make more profit. It's a good sign, from you.

Daniel T. Griswold, former Director of the Herbert A. Stiefel Center for Trade Policy Studies at the Cato Institute, concludes that “basic economic analysis and numerous empirical studies have confirmed that immigrants boost the productive capacity of the United States through their labor, their human capital, and their entrepreneurial spirit. Instead of competing head-to-head with American workers, immigrants typically complement native-born workers by filling niches in the labor market.”

Where did you plagiarize that from, WPF? And are you too stupid to realize that they are saying what I said, but putting a different (liberal) spin on it?
