It's actually Joe Biden's decision, who we all know is a very accomplished doctor of THE SCIENCE.

This is what it looks like when you adjust your position upon receiving new data, rather than just force feeding the position you're incentivized to have from the beginning.

Whoop-de-do. From your chart, the incidence of myocarditis in younger males vaccinated with Moderna is much higher than the incidence with J&J. So, like I told you before, if you're young and you want to get vaccinated, why not get J&J if you're male and Pfizer or Moderna if you're female. (The clotting risk for younger females vs. males is higher with J&J, and myocarditis risk for females for Moderna and Pfizer is lower.)

But yeah, I'm not sure whether or not vaccinating children is a good idea. My son had COVID, so it's not much of an issue, as he has natural immunity. But if I had a child who didn't have COVID, I think I'd lean toward vaccination, as I think he might have an easier time of it when he's exposed. If your argument is you should avoid Pfizer and Moderna in younger males if an annual booster is required to maintain immunity, you may have a point.

Nobody here but me is probably going to listen to your entire YouTube link. I did because I was working out at home this morning and didn't have anything else to listen to. Anyway thanks for posting it, it was very interesting. It's completely irrelevant to the topic. But the references to socialism and communism and revolution among the people who were taking Jim Jones' Kool Aid were interesting. Jones was crazier than Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. And Chavez and Castro were crazier than Bernie Sanders, who admired them. But all are cut from the same cloth.

If you wanted to post something relevant, with a preacher encouraging his parishioners to do something that's against their best interests, there are several out there where evangelists are saying the COVID vaccine is the devil's work so they shouldn't get it. That's not exactly good advice for the elderly and others at high risk.

were you a bit confused as to the terminology?
I'm not at all confused Oeb. It's FatCity who's confused. And I agree with you, when the CDC says the vaccine does not increase the risk of heart attacks, they're probably right.

Thanks for providing the definition of myocarditis -- I should have included it in my post. And for the distinction between myocarditis/pericarditis and myocardial infarction (i.e., heart attack)

Thank you sir - as I perused some previous Tiny posts in this thread - I realize you are correct about Myocarditis.

I did not want to go down that road but I respect everybodies decision to do what they feel is best for them.
Sorry about your friend Ellen. I've got a couple, one of whom's 86 years old and the other who's high risk, who I wish would get it. As well as acquaintances and those at high risk on this board who haven't had the disease.

The article says that the FDA has also authorized a Pfizer booster for people who have had Moderna and J&J vaccines.

My doctor likes Moderna the best, and my third shot, and his, was the original 100 microgram (mcg) dose of Moderna. That’s two times the 50 mcg that Moderna’s recommended for their booster. This is not approved by the FDA and CDC. But I love vaccines and relish being a human Guinea pig.

That was a dumb way of saying naturally immune without ever contracting it.
