I wonder if the increased dance prices at some Ricks are due to the managers shaking down the girls for money. In clubs where there isn’t a lot of money flowing around, everybody’s gotta get their cut however they can.

I’m not sure what you are confused about. It doesn’t matter what clubs in DFW are charging today. It matters what Rick’s charges. When they take over, dances will be $35. That is if you are lucky. In Nola, they are $40. And, there will be no extras during lap dances. They are a corporate entity. They run all of their clubs by corporate policy. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Me thinks the girls are hustling you. Is the price per dance posted in the club? I don't go to spearmint, but I have been to the others without paying more than $20 for a normal dance. Though it was November the last time I was at silver city.

Edit. I did verify spearmint Rhino is $25 a dance. It has been a long time at $20 so not that surprising its gone up to $25.

They talk to each other, and other Spanish speaking customers because communication in English is a difficult issue they sometimes would not rather deal with. Also, many of the Cubans are not people who chose to dance out of a zeal or desire to do so. Many despise what they do, but every other option is worse for them, given their limited familial resources in this country; they are on their own, and must make it that way. I ask you to think about the mentality of the typical American girl in a typical bar; is it very different from that of the Cuban girls who congregate together, and look into their phones all night? On the other hand, the American girl who dances in a club is likely one who made a conscious choice to do so after rejecting all the other options. Naturally, this person might be more inclined to make an effort at it, being that it is her voluntary vocation. The Cubans have nothing and no one to fall back on, and their pushiness may infact be nothing but a manifestation of desperation... The fact that so many beautiful young Cuban women are dancing is an indication that for this population, the statics are driven by different dynamics. In any normal population group in the US, with the freedom to participate in dancing, we can probably draw a curve to show that the percentage of beautiful women in each group who end up as dancers is approximately the same. For the Cubans, it is in ordinately highly, suggesting that some other exaggerative factors may be at work... Please give the daughters of Castro the benefit of the doubt. Also, remember that a dancer can only push, but she cannot compel. You have the right to say "no"

Those are the lap dances prices I was given by the dancers at those clubs. I won't pay those prices. So they are not hustling me.

When have you ever seen lap dances prices clearly posted on signage everywhere inside ANY strip clubs in DFW?

BUCKS clubs for one as to signage. And I have seen it at others as Well. Heck, bucks wild has flashing, scrolling electric signs in the club.

And dancers ask for more all the time and have for a long time. That does not mean the standard dance price is going up

If $20s the norm, they can take it or I move on. And yes, they were trying to hustle you.

My understanding is the deal will be completed in Feb.
