I like to dine out, try different restaurants etc. When I look at the menu and feel it's over priced and not sure what I'll get for my $$ I'm free to leave and go somewhere else. I don't wait for the wait person to come take my order and then try to bargain down the price. Some high priced restaurants are worth it some not. Same goes for a less expensive place. They are all in business for the same thing and quality and value will make or break their business.
Escorting is a business. Yes some ladies are only interested in your money. Some hate their jobs but feel trapped. Some enjoy both the money and their work. I try and find the latter as I usually have a nicer experience.
I've spent $1000 and $100 for an appointment. I've had some great times for $100-$200 and crappy experience ant the high price. Experience in the hobby should help the client find providers that match their desires and budgets.
Negotiating is for flea markets and garage sales. At a restaurant the menu is what I expect to pay for an item and I get to decide if I want to go back.
Be respectful of any business and wok to make any business transaction a win-win. If you didn't get what you want, don't go back and chalk it up to experience. I've seen maybe 20+ different ladies over the years. Some are very memorable while others were "OMFG what a nightmare!". There's plenty of resources these days to find matches for your desires and pocket books.
Respect the ladies, if you didn't like the services, write a review and move onto another provider. Haggle with the car salesman, it's expected. I feel escorting is a very personal business and deserves the boundaries and rules set by a provider. Act like a jerk and you'll get poor service. Be a gentleman and do an honest business transaction and have a nice time.

And how, exactly, do you know what your clients have done with their lives? I'm a WWII vet, an astronaut, a Senator, and I invented ice cream. Gimme a freebie!

For similar reason I have never tried to negotiate. Sometimes I give a lady more up front than she asked for or expected, if she is selling herself short, and if I have a good experience I tip as well. Grudging service is not worth the time. Better that a lady want my repeat business, and (hopefully) treat me accordingly.

From funerals to heart transplants everything is negotiable. Providers love to pretend selling sex is far more than it really is.

I didn't make an analogy either.
What I did comment on was the poster who said I (everyone) "should" accept her opinion on the matter. Her opinion is her subjective truth -- why should I be bound by it? Who made her Hobby Boss?
I offered ZERO thoughts on the topic of haggling a provider's rate, and made no mention of my personal practice (I haven't) of same.
Is that clear now?

Negotiating ... some ladies allow it and some don't.
I say never ask and wait for her to offer a low(er) rate if she wants.
HOWEVER if you choose to ask first and she turns you down DO NOT act like a child about it.
If her ad or site says that her rates are non-negotiable please be respectful and don't try your luck with selective reading.

I think the OP has overacted to the suggestion that the Newbie should learn to negotiate. But then I don't know if she's pissed at the world, or her childhood or how many cats she has.
It seems like a generic suggestion.
If a hotel went on a tirade because someone suggested using Hotwire, Priceline, etc., (Those sites are essentially third party negotiators.) I wonder what the discussion would look like?
Does anyone ask the Hotel for extra towels? How about early check-in or late check-out? Did the hotel staff get angry because you asked? Then deny your stay because of it? All negotiations. Learn to negotiate.
As far as reading ladies profiles, websites, advertisements --- has anyone ever asked a question, the answer to which is written? Maybe asking what sides come with an entree, yet they are listed on the menu. Asked to substitute an item? Learn to negotiate.
Have you or someone you know mentioned a birthday celebration at a restaurant? Hmmm, just order desert, pay the price and stay quiet. How about if the meal or service was terrible? Ever said anything and expect a discount? Learn to negotiate.
These are questions. How does the person who is being asked respond? Learn how to negotiate respectfully.
Negotiations happen all the time in many transactions for goods and for services. Some people are better negotiators than others. Some don't know they can negotiate.
If the thread is read, perhaps some learned they can negotiate medical care. I thought everyone knew that. But, someone will get bent out of shape that it was suggested.
btw, what if a waiter/waitress said up front that his/her tip amount is 50% ??? What would a person do? Negotiate or change tables? And what if somewhere on the menu, it stated that tips are 50% for all wait staff? Buuuut, it wasn't read? Then what?
Whenever something happens that may be disliked, I think dealing with it courteously and respectfully should be the first method attempted.

I guess Whispers shit that you know if there is bareback or not based on Your experiences??? I dont engage in that type of action and dont even like using that term. I never have done that and further more, why or how would you assume that like its common? I hardly work and have a career. Again, i posted based on my preference not yours. It is why "i" choose to go in the direction i go in and when shit heads decide they know better about what i want, isnt that where the ignorance magic happens...smh. You sound like th3 classic Angry At His Mom type. For the Lawyer who thought to project their mainframe idea of bargaining onto MY preference (again), please remember your profession is still and unfortunately legal. We all know more justice has been killed by law rather then brought to light. The depth of denial by those here who seem aggressively contering what i have said is so sad. I indicated that I have given breaks to cool and valued people i met here. Wtf are you upset about? That the idea of a girl not settling for a $40 car BJ will circulate? Calm down and retract the foam out your mouths...Use another thread to vent your resentment towards women. The post, if you read well was about IPOs with new clients approaching a new provider. Simple. No need to be nasty and arrogant...but...be yourself. Everyone's watching
