I used to favor the pipeline, but I don't anymore. Many landowners on the route don't want it, and it shouldn't be forced on them. I'm also opposed to our continued reliance on fossil fuel energy. This is the 21st Century! Oil is 19th Century fuel. We need to move forward with alternatives.

That's the truth. We just had the Offshore Tech Conferance in Houston, and just being down there and seeing the billions of dollars that are spent, the great jobs that are created, and the overall effort being made to get oil out of the ground without spilling one single drop is overwhelming.

Most Polititians, and people in general, don't have a clue.

President Obama needs to take a ride out in the Gulf and actually stand on one of the modern marvels that is an operating offshore platform. I bet his attitude would change.
