So figured I would weigh in on this. As it has been said be careful and aware of your surroundings. As for a weapon a pair of keys in between your fingers is a simple and effective way to protect yourself. Hit a person in the right area and it can be deadly. Yell fire instead of help if there is an attack, people respond better to that. Your cellphone provider should be able to trace the text that are coming in, however 1 of 2 things will happen with that. 1 is that the police will have to give them a court order for that info, or 2 if it is requested by you because of threats, then they will probably notify the police themselves. A pi is an ok route to go but again you will end up with police involvement off of them because they are required to report crimes, besides the fact that a lot of pi's are former leo's. Hope the info helps and again be careful.

While I agree with you to a point, I'm not going to keep running scared. This persons intimidation tactics have worked before, because no one has stood up to him before.
