I have never seen you in a session, but have noticed your avatar and it peaked interest. And I know that may be insignificant to you on a whole but the way you have said things kinda points to a general dislike for providing to men in general.

Although I'm not so super sensitive to let a providers opinions judge whether or not if Ill see her or not....and I'm sure your business is doing well and its insignificant.....but the the way you convey your emotion on hobbyist in generalespecially via eccie seemed very us versus them.....

The longer sessions are almost always preferred. For those looking for the cheapest way to go - it's obviously not an option.

Yes, it definitely narrows the pool. All the hagglers, the 'quicks' the right nows, the alphabet soup guys, most of the so called 'hobbyists', all the people who tell you how to run your biz (ie go cheaper)- all refrain and what you are left with are the guys with money who want quality. You know - actual clients.

I will answer your questions because you asked some pretty good questions but first let me ask you .. what happens when you assume? I'm sure you know the answer..

I have been escorting for a year and half and I am a very low volume provider. I have a part time business that feeds me and my family and those that know me on this site knows that I am far from jaded. I have multi hour reviews on other sites I'm sure if you utilize google you can find them. I have never had a bad experience as an escort. The people in my personal life have cause more pain to me than anyone I know. The men I have had the pleasure of spending time with have been very sweet and generous. I. do. love. my. job. I am not one of these women that will come agreeing to everything and anything the men say in hopes of a session lol. It is SAD that women feel they have to be "fake" or "kiss ass" to make money. I think it would help if we all considered the fact that you can't get inflection, sarcasm, or a general non-verbal cue from reading what someone says. Its likely that those key elements of communication can cause a misinterpreted message to go awry.

P.S. right back: I'm aware that you were referring to business...which most "hobbyists" assume provides our food. LOL. As I mentioned before, what one might consider a "lack of business" another might consider a perfect schedule. But then let's not confuse the term "lack of business" with volume of clients. I may see three to four a week. Each will visit for an average of four hours per session. That's simply all I have time for. My RL career keeps me a busy bee. If someone prefers to make this their bread & butter, or prefers to see 4 in one day, then that's her bag and cheers to her. Doesn't work for me. Importantly though, my business preferences do work for the kind of clients I see.

Every provider is an individual with different ideas, values, preferences and motivations. No general rules could possibly be derived.

But I thought of some ideas -- some ridiculous and a bit jaded to the downright silly.

1. Get as much money as you can from any given visit. Most hobbying is variety-driven. Whenever you see a client you never know if you'll ever see him again. Therefore, it makes sense to get as much money as you can on the very first (and perhaps only) visit.

2. There is a certain modified process of seduction that some providers may use to counteract the wanderlust impulse and turn a one-time client into a regular. The details will vary from case to case; but it isn't the kind of thing you can pull off in 30 minutes, and likely not in an hour. But in 2-4 hrs you can plant the seeds. They'll think coming back was their own idea.

3. The prep time is as long for a 2 hr date as for a 1 hr date -- so a 2 hr date is more efficient.

4. Some providers are sexual artists. While artistry can be accomplished in any length of time, it is hard to appreciate it in a rush.

5. Some men have rushed schedules because of busy lives; and providers who require more time might be trying to weed busy men out of their schedule for some reason.

6. Some providers might be sufficiently materialistic in orientation as to use a man's wealth as a proxy for his objective merit; and longer time requirements would weed less wealthy men out of their schedules.

7. Some providers don't really want to know their clients. They want to get them in, get them off, and get them gone. For them, too much connection is a bad thing and emotionally draining. But there are other providers who prefer and excel at this, and for whom providing isn't as fun without connection. They find the connection invigorating. It is easier to forge connections in longer time-frames.

8. Some providers claim that 2 hrs are required to have a satisfactory sexual experience. (Incidentally, average time for sex with a couple is a tad under 30 minutes.)

There are many other theories I can think of. Many of them are testable.

For example, if a provider has a 2 hr minimum; ask her if she will see you for just one hour as long as you pay her for two. If she says yes, then you know that any reasoning she has previously offered pertaining to artistry, connection, etc. is not primarily causative.
