hercules, i agree w/ what you wrote, except the bolded part.

i learned early on in my hobbying days NOT to let one woman know about my appts or requests out to another woman. at least for me, i have not found any upside in letting one woman know about another. unless i know both of them very well.

and i'm not into using one woman to gain favors w/ another.

unless of course i am scheduling a threesome or foursome. :^)

I learned long ago to let the whole reference thing (or the lack thereof) just roll off my shoulders. I've received everything from silence to "why should I give you a reference, at your price you probably take anything that comes your way" from well known ladies. Even now, there is one young lady that consistently asks me for references (we happen to be the same body type and I've even recommended her to a couple of regulars) but when I ask for one in return the silence is deafening.

It is what it is. You cannot force others to be ethical in business nor can you force others to TCB properly. All you can do is make sure that YOU are always keeping yourself right-- as the only person in this universe that you can control is yourself.

I will say, I always try to reply quickly to both providers and to male friends, both new and current.

This is a business, like it or not. I don't understand the rudeness or the failure to respond and I've experienced both several times recently.

I understand being busy or away from your computer and not being able to reply quickly. I at least acknowledge the message and say I'm away from my computer, I'll have to reply back in a little while.

There isn't room for jealousy, rudeness, bitterness, etc here and behaving that way just reflects poorly on you. Bottom line is it's up to the clients to see whom they wish.

There may be times that I am not on the boards, and times I don't check my email for days at a time. This usually happens during the week when I'm at school and at my day job. I try to remember to get on here every couple of days. Typically, if I was slow to respond to a reference request - I will still provide what I do or don't know - and apologize for said delay.

Many guys do ask after a session if they can use us as a reference. I have some provider friends who inform their clients that they do not ok people after six months.

GUYS, TAKE NOTE PLEASE: I have some providers that I have known for years that have become irritated with you guys that do this:
A client will say, "Hey, you know so and so? I know her...blah blah...ask her bout such and such, blah blah blah."
Then it will turn out that they haven't seen her for 3-4 years and it ruffles her feathers that I even asked her about him in the first place! Don't use a provider for a reference that you haven't spent money on in years bud...that's not cool. Even if you know she and I are friends. IT'S NOT COOL. IT IS ALSO NOT A VALID REFERENCE. SO DON'T GET ALL PISSY WITH ME WHEN I ASK YOU FOR A MORE RECENT REFERENCE. Better yet, go spend $50 for P411 and then that time you see girls like her (or me) will be on there still from way back when! LOL It is such an easy investment and keeps things running so smoothly for EVERYBODY!!!

I only have so much tolerance for ignorance before my mouth must release itself upon the keyboard.

Now, from what I understand...and seeing as that I have a bit more seniority than you and I MIGHT understand some of the rules a bit more (Oh, that little comment was quite mild and indirect compared to what I have been known for in the past) typically attacks that are a bit more vicious in nature are the ones that will have points assessed, and can result in further action from the mods.

However, I often times am given pats on the back for calling people on their bullshit. I can't help it...it's a lifelong trait. I call people out on their bullshit and when I myself fuck up or look like an idiot, I step up to the plate and apologize (rather than pout like a crybaby and blame someone else for my own mistakes).

Calling you out on your bullshit is something I frequently find myself doing with you. Someone many of us still don't know WHAT you are. So puh-lease...don't get me started. Currently my point count is zero...my comment was MILD. I'll happily take my points, but much worse goes on on a regular basis around here. Stop saying such ridiculous shit and you won't put a big fucking target on your posts.

What's up with that? Just the persona you want to put out there? Burned out? Natural impatience and hostility? Does it attract a certain type of clientele that you prefer?
