Norfolk Southern has a lot to explain here. sensor failures, operators not being observant. don't these trains have rear-view mirrors? they should have cameras as well.

Rear view mirrors are for a reverse move. By time the engineer sees a problem in the mirror, it is too late. If there indeed was an equipment problem, the defect detector should have caught it and sent a warning to the train crew. Would be kind of difficult to determine after the intense flames immersed the equipment.

This train wasn’t approved to transport toxic materials. But Norfolk lied what was in the Tankers.

This says it all. Fuck Senile Biden and all the worthless Democrats who don't care about these people
The Mayor of East Palestine DID decide to take questions at the “open house” last night.
Resident: Where’s Pete Buttigieg? Where’s he at?
Mayor: I don’t know. Your guess is as good as me. Yesterday was the first time I heard anything from the White House

Completely ignored by Buttplug Pete and the Dementia Addled idiot who is too busy shitting himself in the White House

No way is that East Palestine. I suspect it's a touched-up satellite image of a volcanic eruption on Tonga in January 2022.

At this point, there is no proof that the main culprit was the brakes, rather than the axles or some other part(s) of the undercarriage, track erosion, sensor failures or human error. Nor is there any proof that ECP (electronically controlled pneumatic) brakes would have prevented the accident.

Oh my, now ButtPlug Pete is trying to play down the East Palestine disaster by complaining that people are paying too much attention to East Palestine and says there are 1,000 cases of a train derailing a year
Guess who's job it is to fix that, Pete!

Vance's point is where the Fuck is the EPA testing the water?
Jesse Watters just mentioned that not only didn't the EPA do any testing before telling people it was safe but that the railroad did the testing by hiring out some contractor to do it. also he reported these contractors are going to people's homes to test but requiring people to sign a release of liability. this is what happens when the railroad covers its ass while the EPA does nothing.

exactly! and it took Petey's staff 10 days to come up with a way to deflect on Trump when they should be boots on the ground and the EPA also testing the air and water.

These people should sign NOTHING and not accept a penny in restitution. I heard on the radio NS is offering $1000 to affected families, that’ll cover about 3 minutes of chemo.

Bootyplug is a fucking joke, he has no experience with transportation and infrastructure at all, or as an effective manager. The one and only reason he has the job he does is because he takes it in the ass. That’s what the country has come to, and it’s a fucking shame.
