Not agreeing or disagreeing with your post. Based on your previous post in this thread maybe you might want to start a new one. I've been a little off topic myself.

We've already done that. Since the country had very little in the 1st place there's not much to rebuild except what we've already built for them.

Fiction is not an excuse. It's a fabrication.

As for "July 4" comment, going in to extract is riskier than the initial assault. Our adversaries already know our mind set and MO. They also know that all they have to do is down one significant target and many in this country begin the chant of "cut and run." Look at comments in this thread.

It is not a matter of cut and running. It is a matter of the job being done.

OBL is dead.

Our mission is not to build a country(s)

That is a liberal mindset. The chickenhawks have adopted that mindset to help expand their cherished military industrial complex. They do not give a damn about our troops. All they care about are their profits from said actions.

Real conservatives never would be for nation building. That is all we are doing and we aren't even doing that well.

You do not understand war. You have to sell it to all, not just the soldiers. Hell , you are paying them to do wtf ever you tell them. But the taxpayer footing the bill needs to believe that that money is going for something good.

What person put his neighbor's kids needs ahead of his own children?

That is wtf is starting to happen. We are running outta money yet people are asking the american taxpayer to foot the bill for some nation that really does not seem to care at all about our efforts. Personally I question why the fuc we are even over there. I am sic of throwing money and lives at that shit hole.

If the nation wants to stay over there and fight then the nation should take a deep breath and start paying for that notion.

That is where the rubber meets the road. That is called putting your money where your mouth is.

That is where Bush decieved us. He sold is a bill of goods that said we could fight two wars and get a tax cut.

Now there is half the country that does not want to give those tax cuts back.....nor do they want us to leave that shit hole.

That just makes no fuc'n sense.

The reason Bush put troops into Afghanistan was to capture or kill bin Laden. We should have started to pull troops out the second Seal Team Six put a cap in his ass. We won! Mission accomplished!! Bring 'em home. Of course, I could be wrong. I think I need to talk this over face to face with Lil' Red.

There I fixed it for you.

[Did someone decide that blast debris stops at the borders?]

Weren't traces from Japan on our West Coast recently?
Volcanoes spread clouds around the world?
Oil fires in Iraq spread well beyond their borders?

When one throws slop overboard, .....

..... one should be aware of which side is selected for the toss.

Fiction/fabrication where is the difference?

I don't understand your point regards "July 4".

As for extractions being riskier than an insert in a hot LZ I beg to differ. Been there done that.

As it is the Media Story continues to change stating that the '47 was en-route between hilltops when it was zapped and the Op was to capture a Taliban HMFIC based on phoney Intel. Army Doctrine is to use '47's for troop lifts as '60's are having trouble doing lifts at such a high agl environment.

As for the Chants to begin to cut and run after this tragic loss of 38 I have no idea.

I tend to agree in this instance.

Actually, this is not the first time SEALs have suffered losses in this war. 2005, Operation Redwing, SEAL Team 10. Only one SEAL came home.

Whether or not we agree with the war, each of these remain true heroes.

Release the bin Laden death photos. Obama's excuse for not releasing them is totally void.

If the facts finally get fully released the "heat" will be confirmed or disputed, but my initial assessment based on the initial reports (which made no mention of an ongoing firefight) is accurate.....and now reports are indicating that the LZ was never reached....which means a "hot LZ" was irrelevant....other than a perimeter may have been established by the adversaries to await the arrival of the expected assistance ... which is my point.

By the way, there is now being criticism aired over the decision making and that there may have been some haste and complacency. And the criticism is not coming from arm-chair warriors, bloggers, or news pundits, but current "practitioners."

They will be released in October right before the election when BO's numbers are down.
