What an embarrassment.......an all time MOST yardage versus the Cowboys ever set tonight (breaking the all time record Detroit had set just a couple weeks ago).......In addition, a new NFL record against them, too (40 first downs......)
Amazing how weak and overwhelmed they looked against a decent team tonight (Oh.....the same exact team that got beat by a rookie QB just last Sunday.)
The Jerry Jones model just doesn't see to be working, does it? But, hey....he can build a helluva a stadium, right? I mean afterall, isn't that the main purpose of a General Manager?

Duhhhhhhh Cowpukes were also recipients of some Saint mercy. The Saints could have pinned another 400+ yd passing game on duhhhhhhhh Cowpies, but instead ran the ball to keep the clock moving. If it weren't for Jacksonville duhhhhhhh Cowbags would have the worst overall defense in the league.

Some may say "He (Jerry Jones) has been the owner for 20+ years so he knows what he's doing as the GM..." Those people are fuckin STUPID!!! After all this time Jerry still knows very little about how to build a winning football program.
But you still have those who remember "The good ole days" and will continue to hope the boyz are 1 or 2 draft picks away from glory... It aint hap-nin!!! and wont happen until fans stop drinkin the Jerry Kool-Aid and SHOW Jerry you aint buying his highly marketed bullshit (ie. stadium tickets, merchandise, etc.) until he puts a product on the field you can cheer for...
But that wont happen YOU SUCKERS will continue to accept and support mediocrity from those guys.
As a die-hard, yet realistic Cowboy fan I found myself laughing as they were getting that ass kicked tonight.
They have a bye next week and the embarrassment of tonight's loss forgotten when they play their next game.

An entire generation has grown up without seeing the Cowboys make it to the Super Bowl...let alone NFC championship. 18 fucking years. I can't understand how so much talent can get so wasted.
But hey!!! You can get a suite at Jerry World and pay $85.00 for a 12-pk of Miller Lite! Really SAD that people actually do that...

Hard to win games in the real NFL with a decent backup QB, no O line, a second string defense, waaaaaaay overpaid "skill" players and coaches that will let JJ surgically remove their spines before they start.

I'm from New Orleans and live here. I've always loved both teams and actually don't watch the game when they play (I record and watch it later). I openly admit to hating the JJ led Cowboys (they are) and feel he and his son Stephen have eroded the Cowboys we all knew and respected into a franchise of excuses and overpaid underachievers.
Last night was just too much. There's not enough comedic punch lines in existence to cover the amount of embarrassment created from that game and total team failure. It wasn't only Romo, it wasn't any one player, it was the whole frigging team melting down. I quit watching the recording. For me, even with one of my teams winning (big) it felt sickening.
The Saints definitely showed some mercy last night. 49 points and the record yards against the Boys doesn't even cover how bad it really was/could have been.
If there was a reset button for a NFL franchise and it's ownership...it's time to press it now.

I remember when I first started watching the Cowboys. The Saints could not produce a winning season. Year after year, the fans were disappointed by one losing season after another.
I remember thinking to myself. What would it be like to have your favorite team perform so poorly.
Now I know.

EROS, I believe you've summed it up for Cowboy fans. Even the most diehard of us can barely watch this dreck anymore. Never in my life did I envision the Cowboys ever being this dreadful.....year after year after year.....
Wildcatter Jones' reckless, gambling ways that succeeded in the oil & gas biz are a miserable failure when applied to running an NFL franchise. And yet, he feels "His Way", given time, will eventually work and that Cowboy fans should continue to remain patient.
I will guarantee you this: the currently "broken" Pittsburgh Steelers will turn themselves around and become relevant again before Dallas will. Steeler ownership (the Rooney Family) has remained steadfast to sound football philosophies that Chuck Noll instituted decades ago. While in Dallas, the Cowboys continue to resemble a rudderless ship of fools.

After the 1988 season some people were saying that Landry must go, he has lost touch with the game. It had been 10 years since they won a Super Bowl.
Jones buys the team, fires Landry.
This streak of ineptness puts a whole new perspective on things.
It has been 17 years since the Cowboys won a Super Bowl!!!
If Jerry were to buy the team today would he fire the head coach?
The general manager?
