The fines a player accrues goes towards charities fyi.

Those charities mostly are scams. The only people getting that money are the people setting it up. Only a small percentage actually filters out to the target. These players instead of wasting their time with this stupid shit could really make a difference if they wanted to.

I thought that I wrote it clear for you. Cowboys will go belly up and Philly will beat them and so will the Giants. That is even after they get their prize suspended players back.

I agree with you on things like Breast Cancer Awareness and etc.
However you missed the part where I said some players donate to their OWN foundations. They created it and fund it with the help of grants, personal funds and etc. Jason Witten is a prime example among others like Larry Fitzgerald.

While there are a few things I disagree with you on, Larry Fitzgerald is an awesome person. Highly respected. There are a number of them that fund local projects where the money is spend efficiently. Drew Bree's is another. He has funded numerous projects in the city for inner city youth. Thank you so very much for expressing your differences in opinion in a respectable manner. Others in this thread are just ridiculous and uncivil. Wish they would just go away if they can not add to a conversation.

A handful of the athlete’s charities are legit. But the majority of them are tax deduction fronts run by their shady agents or the cousin.

Protesting police shootings is a great way to make them feel better about themselves, but thats about all its good for. Maybe they should think about putting some of the ridiculous amount of money they make to play a game towards creating a PAC with the goal of reforming our kinda fucked up LE community rather than disrespecting the country that has quite simple given them a great life.

Comments like these completely miss the boat.
Plain and simple, the NFL looks at it's cash cow as just that, easily dispensable, easily replaceable. Contrast that to a league like the NBA, and the difference in treatment is night and day.
The outrage by most players IMO is because of the double standard. Let me know when you are as equally pissed off at these players as you are Keap, and then we can have a conversation, because...
Ben R can be accused of raping TWO women
Mike Vick can kill dogs
Tom Brady can be alleged to have cheated (again)
Greg Hardy can beat the shit out of a woman and show no remorse
Zeke can have transgressions with women
Josh Brown can assault his then-wife
Lesean McCoy can allegedly beat his ex
Riley Cooper can say racist shit on camera
..but Kaepernick is "bad" for business."
GTFOH with that BULL. SHIT.
Oh, and BTW, for all these "stand for the flag" zealots...You do realize that before the last 20 years, there was no Anthem stuff before the game. The NFL / military entered into PAID PATRIOTISM.
Also, read the 3rd stanza and paragraph of your beloved national anthem, and wonder why any Black person would stand for that bullshit.

Agreed as well.
We as society have lost the ideals of collaboration and compromise and since replaced it with either or competition.

Here is the explanation of the wording in the fourth paragraph for those who said "what the hell is that saying".
Quoth the Wiki:
According to the historian Robin Blackburn, the words “the hireling and slave” allude to the fact that the British attackers had many ex-slaves in their ranks, who had been promised liberty and demanded to be placed in the battle line “where they might expect to meet their former masters”
Hireling specifically refers to mercenaries who were mostly Hessian, from the eponymous state of Hessen in southwest Germany.
I like the way the NBA handles the anthem issue. And as a lot have stated, media coverage, good or bad, keeps the NFL relevant.

Whoever said the players were unappreciative to play in the NFL?
Please provide receipts...
The NFL did this to themselves.
They could have nipped this shit in the bud A LONG TIME AGO by:
Actually talking to Kaep when he was still employed by the NFL and found a way to work something out (let's not kid ourselves, he ain't ever playing in the NFL again)
Discontinuing the PAID PATRIOTISM, so there is no anthem played to protest
In typical NFL fashion, they find a way to fumble a walk-in TD because they are only making Kaeps shadow over the league even bigger.
The 2018-19 season is 6 weeks away, and we're STILL talking about what ONE player did 2 years ago...
And for the last time, HE. IS. NOT. PROTESTING. THE. FLAG.
HE IS PROTESTING POLICE BRUTALITY AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE SPECIFICALLY AND PEOPLE OF COLOR IN GENERAL.
He just astutely used his platform, you know, the same way beer companies use the NFL brand to sell beer, Viagra for ED, the list goes on...but that's none of my business...
