I've never, nor will I tell anyone what I do. I heard some of the guys at work talking about some girls on BP but I kept my mouth shut. It's no ones business what I do and I want to keep it that way.

That's how I see the hobby life. None of my RW friends, family, etc will ever know...or at least I will never tell them. I remember on my birthday a coworker jokingly said "so hookers later on?" to which I laughed and said "um, escorts thank you...I am a man of class". We both laughed and went about our business. As far as my family, friends, coworkers are concerned they still think I'm in a 7 year absense from relationships and dating. 1 of those thinks that due to that 7 year stretch that I've been abstinent for that length of time and she thinks that because I told I have been. Far from the truth....the abstinence that is. The dating/relationship 7 year stretch is true.

Nope dont talk to anyone about it, but I dont see an issue with the girls talking about guys they have seen to one another like someone mentioned up there. For me I think that would actually help my cause and I wouldnt have to do much recon to find ATFs. No girl is gonna go tell her fellow provider friend she had a fucktacular session with a dude and that friend not be interested and likewise if she said he really sucked then her friend probably wont try hard to see that dude.

I believe it was the famous American poet Robert Frost who said, "Good fences make good neighbors"....In this hobby or business boundaries must be maintained. Honestly, you and I share a similar pastime Samantha but I would never seek you out to introduce myself or point you out to anyone in my circle of friends who share my Non-Hobby hobby. I know this would violate your wishes and privacy even if you were unaware of it and that is unethical to me.

As far as myself personally, just read some of the recent posts (such as the Marisa2 thread) and you'll see why the Gents need to be better 'fence builders' before they seek certain providers out for companionship. I am single and could care less who tried to 'out me' as long as she doesn't do a Jennifer Flowers to Bill Clinton type of outting and say all I'm good for is eating pussy because I have a small dick !!

Same here. Don't even mention my sex life, much less seeing a provider. It usually goes like this: "hey, what'd you do last night, anything fun?" Nah, just hung out with a friend of mine for a little while. If the questions get more specific, I usually play it off like "we met at a (name a sports bar) and had a few beers" or "hung out at my place and worked on the navigation system on the boat" or some other lame quick story. But never discuss or mention sexcapades.

Samantha: the discovery that I could actually have sex with smokin' hot women such as yourself (in exchange for a few days' wages) came for me fairly late in life. Naturally it was something I've had to brag about occasionally--but only in the most general terms, and only as a knock-out response to nosy questions about my dating life (or lack thereof). I'd never get into specifics with anyone, if only out of respectful gratitude for the martial artist's confidence which I've gained from encounters with your beautiful colleagues. I have some civvie friends I could tell and I'm pretty certain they wouldn't care (and some would probably be curious about getting into the hobby). I haven't broached the subject with any of them yet though.

on a side note: I have heard whispers in the wind that some providers (providers in general, not the OP) talk to other providers about their clients. (and i am not talking about screening info) IMHO, thats not cool. We hobbyists trust you ladies to a certain point, to keep what you know about us, to yourself. ya'll could lose alot of business if some of ya'll keep doing that. I am not giving out any names or outting anyone. I just want to throw this out there so some providers know, that we know.

That doesn't particularly bother me. It's not like hobbyists don't do the same thing when they get together. The whole cloak & dagger / gossip thing is just part of the community and the hobby. Throw in sex (which everyone loves to gossip about) and you've got a crazy rumor/drama mill in the making.

I never talk about my being a hobbyist to my friends, in my personal life, but I have talked about other providers to another provider. Sometimes a provider will talk about why a certain other provider left the hobby and how nice/bad someone is. It is just shop talk, but to my private friends...never. I do not even reveal what a provider said to me. That is private between us.

If I was married, I would distance myself from the hobby like the devil does with holy water. Perhaps a half dozen years after the divorce (I had no idea she was cheating for nearly 3-years) I stumbled upon an AMP where the house mama told me about ASPD.

That's how I stumbled into the hobby. I would never be a participant if I was married. Single & free for 19-years.
