Tie or no tie

This is may be just idiosyncratic old me, but I find that after a session of terrific sex, the process of getting dressed in a suit provides an important end note. I have to find the stuff (dark socks in a candle lit room can be illusive), get 'em all organized and then go through the step-by-step process of dressing. But this mundane process lets me disengage from the fantasy of the carnal world and re-enter my reality. So the little things like putting on the cufflinks, knotting the tie, "shooting" the shirtcuffs through the sleaves of my jacket are more focused since the completion of each discrete act means I am that much closer to walking out the door flush with memories and the residue of lust. This is an important transition for me and it doesn't happen if I only have to pull on a polo shirt and buckle up my Levis.

She was wearing the tie VERY loosely, and the shirt was unbuttoned most of the way. It was just such an obvious (to me LOL) part of "wearing" a man's shirt and tie that I didn't mention it.

I tried this recently. Except - instead of waiting for me in his room like a good little puppy, my date decided to meet me in the lobby so we could go out and get a bite to eat. Here I am, wearing nothing under my trench coat. I didn't think it would be a problem until we got to the restaurant.... which had mandatory coat check policy. Oy.

And there's absolutely nothing at all wrong with a cheap tie -- so long as you don't mind running the risk of looking poorly turned out. I'm sure that there's a decent cheap tie somewhere, but I don't think I've seen many.

I once had a girl that thought it would be sexy to take my tie off and run it back and forth between her legs. It was hot but she obviously did not realize that for a silk tie there was no way to clean it and get rid of the smell. Women can always smell another woman so I could never use that tie again. Great visual but obviously a lack of appreciation for good ties.

I gave it to her, I hope she put it to good use; maybe in a courtroom.
