After my grandson's birth my daughter took the advise of some peace & love northern California doctor and did not have the boy circumsized. Everyone cautioned her to have the procedure done, but she said no. She's bull headed like her mother (my wife #1).

I wish there was some way for the comments in this forum to reach her.

As an adult my step-father had the procedure done. Its my understanding that as an adult, this is very painful.

Yes, apparently the trend is to avoid circumcision now. Some Doctor's say it's unnecessary. But, you'll notice there's quite a bit of surprise from the circumcised guys on the existence of smegma. That's not an accident, as if you're circumcised, you'll probably never have to deal with that particular problem unless you're just a nasty unwashed bastard. From what I understand from friends in the medical field (and Providers), circumcision is a cultural thing as well. It's a predominantly caucasian trait.

Also, someone awhile back posted some disturbing pictures of penis cancer. That is a visual burned into my mind forever. Apparently, an exceeding high percentage of penis cancer cases are directly linked to to an uncircumcised penis.

Sounds like one of those bull shit posts to me. How the fuck could a guy walk around with "a crusty build up" on the inside of his fore skin.? Unless this guy was mentally fucked up it didn't happen. Does dirty dicks come in two's? Then again maybe this provider just draws such men...

They have a medical term for it, and pictures of cases of it out there because it doesn't happen.
