Intolerance is a pardox to the ignorant.

There is a level of intolerance for many beliefs and stances that is acceptable within our society. Once that level is broken, for racists or pedophiles, then it is not "intolerance" of their ideas but more "protection" from those true evils that we're then talking about.

So, when someone attacks "protection" as "intolerance", then they are really telling us that they tolerate the most evil acts that occur within society and are providing a tacit endorsement of those policies too.

Rereading the posts so far... no one here has suggested anything of the sort... but trying to portray protection as intolerance is a ludicrous fool's errand.

Im curious, do folks feel this same way when a lady puts " no black men" in their ad. LOL

I personally cannot "separate the art from the artist" so if she is truely that awful I'd have to take her off the list of providers I want to see, but like any proof to this? I'd hate for some salty ex customers to tear the lady down, but form what I gather it seems pretty legit.

I learned to separate the art from the artist for the sake of music. I really like Springsteen’s Glory Days and Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town. His politics, not so much. I won’t pay for his music , but I’ll listen for free.

I have seen this topic come up a lot over the years. Funny thing is I see just as many, if not more, black providers that put that in there ads. So there has to be more to it. What exactly that is we can all only guess.

If a white provider is putting that in their ads because she is a straight up racist then even as a white guy would not see her. But again when I see more than a fair share of black providers saying the same thing it leads me to believe there is more to it than racism and do not pay any attention to it.

Some providers put no blacks their ad to appease to their white clients. I was told this tatic by very popular provider who doesn’t want her clients to know she sees black clients. But most providers who say no blacks still see black clients from what she has told me

Welp I have gained further information. yeah shame gonna have to take this lady off the list of those I was interested in.

Regarding the lying about seeing black clients, that is a whole level of interesting. I suppose some people would be appeased by that. This hobby has some interesting social dynamics.
