I miss CK1942 & Ol' Sarge for their wisdom... FAS & Monk for gentlemanly insights & occasional bawdy limericks (which includes Meldrick, of course). Scorpio32, Booth & East Bay Ray for calling it like they saw it... We just had a lot of fun cutting up on the boards.

Who's gonna tell me a bedtime story & tuck me in. I can't sleep!!! LOL

Naw, she used to keep goats. Never stopped talking about them. Got to the point that members of the old board were forbidden by staff to talk about Falisha's goats, or warned if they made jokes about them.

She was a "spirited" poster and lived in a world of her own choosing.

Eventually she left the board ... several times.

I think she's a member here but doesn't post.

However, comedian Ron White has a terrific monologue about Cincinnati Chili. As a fellow Texan, he takes umbrage when the folks in Cincinnati try and tell him that the shit and spaghetti they serve up there is the best in the world.

He says something like: "If a Mexican with an onion rides up here on a goat, he'll make better chili than this. Of course he'll need a ride home."

Excellent.

I guess it illustrates our need for goats!

rerun88- yup, him too! He was so nice to me when I first started providing. He made sure to ask me if I had met any of the ladies yet, and suggested some to me. I won't ever forget that. Their is tons of shit to wade thru that is soon forgotten, but it only takes a few kind words to impact someone positively for life. Okay okay I am done with the feel good stuff now.
