The cult label is 1000% accurate. It's impossible for trump to do anything that will warrant even the slightest criticism from his knuckle draggers (including staging a coup to topple the government and illegally retain power).

He is all-knowing and all-perfect in their glazed-over eyes. And yes, they still pretend to "back the blue" and don't see any irony in that.
