Racism exits more because blacks need it to, and less because whites want it to. I see far more racism towards Mexicans than I do towards blacks, and blacks outnumber Mexicans in this country 144 to 1. If we get right down to the beans of it, Native Americans are still oppressed more than any other race in the United States, with the Pine Ridge reservation being the poorest place in the U.S, where the avg family income is 4100.00 per year and infant mortality is 13 times higher than the national average. 68% of homes lack basic cooking facilities, running water, or electricity. All this while the BIA (bureau of Indian affairs) sits on 22.5 Billion dollars of Native American funds.

I say anyone crying racism in the United States today where the MAJORITY has spoken by Electing a Black President, already has huge balls, just coming up short on brains. Racism by it's very definition can exist, however the majority of the United States has spoken loud and clean that they are NOT racist. Keep playing that card and soon you may lose even those that are against racism, because there's nothing worse than standing up for a belief and being called a liar.

VK is not one of my favorite people, however he is right here, If your with a client, pay 100% attention to that client, If you don't and you are questioned for it, admit to the mistake, don't try and hide behind the race card, it really is disgusting. This gent, brought you to his home, paid you affair wage and expected proper services, only someone NEEDING the race card would even consider using it. You perhaps are starting to see, less and less people are supporting that train of thought in America today, we all remember the story of the boy who cried wolf.

not everything that happens is racism but I cant stand people that try to act like just because obama is in office that racism is over and exist only because black people want it to, this country was built on it engraved in its fabric so please stop with the bullshit and yes there are others that are oppressed not just African Americans

Racism exists absolutely, but it exists for ALL races, and it ALWAYS will. Racism while blamed for everything that does not go the way an African American wants it to in fact usually has very little to do with it. I personally do not care either way,as long as those doing the hating aren't also doing the harming.

Odd thing about Racism is that it is usually BLATANT , racists don't usually hide their views, they are typically proud of them, so racism is rarely this little ninja that pops out unseen like we keep being told it is, its a 500lb bear that is obvious and in your face. I have found that most people who are not black that run around on a pair of black nuts crying racism are in fact more racist towards blacks than anyone else. Best place to hide if you are a racist would be right between two African Americans. How many black children do you have? I have 3 , I have never seen any of my children treated any different than any other race of children if anything they are given more positive attention and I live it every day, so do not come here and tell me your white standpoint on racism while you and your all white brood sit in your all white neighborhood and spend your days at Starbucks and the Gap. Is that racist for me to say? Yup, and I am no ninja about it.

Only a narrow minded person would ever expect, demand, or need every single person to like them. Until every single person stands up and rejoices that blacks are better, smarter, more attractive and superior in every way to whites, the race card works and will keep getting thrown out all the damn time. Well in reality you would still blame the white's because they still have the majority, when discussing society the "majority" is not the race with the most numbers. What the OP is talking about is cultural racism. This would be racism on an individual level, and to break it down in a short explaination it is where the negative perception of a race is engrained into the individual through upbringing and learned biases. Bascially for example is the percepion that all black men are lazy and criminals, when statistics show that the percentage of criminals among blackmen are far less than than that and that the majority of black men work and are productive members of society. The OPs claim of racism would be her belief that if she would have been a white provider acting the same way the natural assumption would not be that she was a theif and because she is black the client's first assumption was that her actions equated to her trying to steal.

Having done my civic duty and carefully not researched the facts in any way whatsoever, I'm inclined to believe that unless someone is caught red-handed pulling some shit, accusations shouldn't be tossed out willy nilly and the benefit of the doubt should be given.
