Littering is against the law and you can be fined up to $500 for trash less than or equal to five pounds or five gallons (as you may have seen on those blue Don’t mess with Texas signs). Repeat the offense, and you could face a fine of up to $2,000 and 180 days in jail.
It gets worse.
Discarding trash that weighs more than five pounds is considered illegal dumping and carries even steeper fines. In Texas, failing to cover your pickup-truck load is against the law and carries a fine of up to $200 for the first offense and $500 for repeat offenders.
Any law enforcement officer in Texas can enforce these laws.

Now, unfortunately "because the kid got caught doing something against the law, and got man-handled a little by the property owner" - tough beans (for the KID). I have no more sympathy for this kid than I would for a robber who breaks a leg while running from the police.

In truth, this should have ended with the officer writing the mother a $500 ticket; which would have shut her up just as quick as a taser.
You win, you're right, everyone else is wrong. Congrats!

My sentence should be "I've spent about $16,000 less on buying pussy than Chung Tran"

...whats your point?

That buying snatch makes your opinion and speculation somehow more valid? That one person's opinion carries more weight than another's by the amount of tail they've written about on a blog site?

ohhh.... sorry, you were attempting to make a personal attack on me in the face of reasonable debate. OK.

you don't even get this? really? the point is you and I buy pussy illegally.. you pointed out the littering law, and suggested Mom should pay a $500 fine.. I simply asked what you should pay for violating prostitution ordinances (and I get that my sentence should be much greater!)?

The issue here is not about littering.

Maybe the child did make it up. Maybe this was the ntenth that police had been called out. Maybe a ton of things happened that did not get captured on the camera. None of that matters. Police cannot treat situation's like that as cases of someone calling wolf.

The officer, instead of deescalating the issue, ramped it up. Would he taunt a bear after her cub was injured? No. Mothers flip out when they feel their kids are harmed. Black, White, Asian, Hispanic or any other color of mother turn into fucking bears when it involves their child. That officer instead of calmly walking away decided to poke the bear. Really????

If he arrived on scene and didn't find that he could justifiably arrest the alleged assailant, he could have just left or explained why he could not and tried to calm her down instead of prodding the mother. Have some human decency.

The officer is also seen athe the end of the video rushing toward the person taking the video. My guess is that if anything this will be what gets him in trouble.

Time and time again police have been told that bystanders, as long as they are not in the way, are free to video police. Police need to behave better. They are being watched and know it.

A badge doesn't make them infallible.

Defending him is ridiculous.

Do you think the cop who tazed a guy to death after he was in hand cuffs was justified? That guy's no longer a cop and is sitting on prison as we speak.

Any one know of any charges were brought against the former McKinney police officer over the pool party incident?

grean, I tried to talk sense into scribe and DSK, they are not having it.. they see the world and video much different.. you were more charitable than me, I did not see the Mom as a raging, protect my child kind of reaction.. she raised her voice, saying "you don't know what I teach my child" pissed off way.. that's it.. not some out-of-control Rodney King charging at the police kind of angry.

I predict the officer has been fired already, and news won't be released until Monday.. to let Christmas pass first.

My biggest problem with the cop was when he completely overreacted when the 15 year old was simply trying to calm her mother down. I'm sure that kid knows her mom's temper...the mom shouldn't have been yelling at the cop, but that cop is the reason all of that shit started because of his smug attitude. As soon as that idiot cop arrested everybody because he was in the mood to arrest some harmless black people, he fucked himself. That guy has no business being a cop. Hell, he has no business being a security guard at Walmart.

I wish....

I haven't seen anything new but my guess is that if there was movement, some reporter would have it already.

I've never done civil rights cases. No real money in them, especially in the 5th Circuit. I'm only practicing part time now. I just have a few cases, mostly patents in Texas, O&G royalty litigation from Oklahoma, and class actions in Calf. I spend more time on other business ventures, including O&G. Spend roughly one week plus per month outside the country. Hoping to move that number up as current cases settle. Hope to be fully retired in three years or so.

But back to this case. It has no real value as there are no danages. Can't prove that the officer's extra constitutional actions were the result of department policy. A $100,000 settlement would be a home run. $50-60,000 is much more likely. Shows just how hard it is to interest top lawyers in this type of case. Even if you do a great job, there's no substantial payday.

When I first saw this video it upset me. I was appalled by the officer's actions. I'm not sure of the whole background of the situation but I am wondering what got edited out at the 1:37 mark. I don't think tampering with the evidence will help them in the long run. i mean....I can't take it serious after I noticed that. It makes me feel like maybe they were instigating as much as the officer. It made me go back rewatch and take note that the camera holder was having to tell the mom not to yell before anything started. And I know that my opinion may anger some but i was also someone that was angered by this cop as well. But sometimes each side needs to look at things from each side. I am also someone that has told my own children that the school does not need my permission to whoop them....they should have followed the rules. Because when they grow up the justice system does not need my permission to execute them. I also remind my kids that this Texas and explained the castle law to them and how it can be twisted in favor of the land/home owner.

And how would the cop know that the girl was calming down the mother. For all he knew one of them could've been pulling a weapon....thank God this situation didn't get uglier!!!!!!!!!! And that's all ass backwards! Children should not teach parents how to act like an adult and handle situations. The mother should have been a better role model. A child should have never been in a situation to have to tell a grown person how to behave which she was clearly having to do from the beginning.

Schools have rules and accountability about discipline, dude. Cops don't if they choose to not abide by the rules set forth by their training. Cops can get away with damn near anything if they're not caught on camera...if the school used unnecessary discipline on your kids, I'm sure you would have a problem with it without video. Cops don't have the same burden of proof as Sally Mae, the teacher who whipped your kids' asses because their redneck dad gave her permission to do so.

No 15 year old girl runs up on a cop and turns her back to them if she intends to use a weapon. They kind of just pull the trigger or knife before they get in between the cop and a loved one. That's basic common sense...you don't call the cops if you plan on using a weapon. They could have easily saved a wasted phone call to the cops and used a weapon on the neighbor who put his hands on the 7 year old kid if they had any thought whatsoever of actually using a weapon. Again, basic common sense. Why assault a cop when you can directly assault the asshole neighbor who pissed you off in the first place?

Well....if my BLACK kids...yes my kids are black...littered on someone's yard that they have watered and mowed and then furthered disrespected by mouthing off...I wouldn't have been upset at the guy for grabbing my child. I would've given my kids a second ass whooping. you calling me a redneck...lmao. I guess my redneck ass will never know because my black kids that grew up in predominantly white neighborhood never had to get disciplined.

In the heat of the situation, how in the hell can you predict anything? This is a situation that escalated. Do you understand the definition of escalate? What if the daughter was running up to the mother because the mom had a weapon hidden and was about to pull it. Anything! I mean obviously the daughter even felt like she needed to refrain the mother. The daughter herself saw the mother was about to do something or else she wouldn't have jumped in. So if the daughter noticed the mother acting to aggressively don't you think the officer did too!?!? So I'm sure if the daughter was worried her mom was about to do something imagine how threatened the officer felt with that big ole lady!!! Like I said...thank God it wasn't worse. It was a calm conversation until she started yelling. As defensive as she got about whether or not she teaches them not to litter maybe she didn't. Right or wrong we are all responsible for our reactions. All I'm saying is look at all angles.

You can be black and a redneck. I didn't know that until I was a youngster and I heard Karl Malone talk after the Jazz played the Mavericks...I'm guessing you may be white though...either way, I don't give a shit. You get my point in my previous posts.

Merry Christmas to you and your black family. I hope your neighbors are cool.

I've always taken pride in being color blind when it comes to people. Reading any kind of racist shit is annoying to me. You just seem like a redneck to me. Redneck is not a race, just a really slow learning curve with a fucked up accent. I've never met a smart redneck. They're kind of all the same simpletons.

I hate racist shit too!! Like I said I jumped immediately on this band wagon against the cop at the very beginning as well. But when I stopped and really took a look at the video...I saw more. I'm not ruling out that officer wasn't acting a little racist...I actually think he probably was. But as far as it actually escalating...I blame the mom. And I also think they were baiting as well. I think every single person in that video was racist. Just the mom took the bait. But anyways.....where's the unedited video?

Merry Christmas to you from my multi racial family! :-) Don't worry...my kids respect other people's property so we good in my neighborhood. :-)
