I really like this lifestye its my high...I get such a rush its great
I went to school and got my cert for a medical assistant it was fun learning but to be in a doc office everyday to work is no fun and I can't work my own hours and I can't travel much
But being a provider I can choose any city I would like to go and just go and work and enjoy and the trip pays for itself I mine as well do it while I'm young and work later in life.and I don't want to be 35 yrs old and look back at my life and see all I did was live to work and work to live.

I don't think people realize just how hard it is to get a job that pays what we make here...even with a BS or Masters. Starting salary with those degrees and NO experience, is only 40-65k depending on the field. Take taxes out, and you're not making what you do here...and you are putting in 50 hr. weeks.

You can make more in sales these days vs. with certain degrees...pretty sad considering the average student loan debt is 50k...over 80 if you attend a private school.

Providing is one of few jobs that if you go broke one day, you can make it up in an hour. It's a false sense of security when you think about it.

There are more risks here than any other job as well... being found out, stds, getting robbed, raped, killed, arrested, etc. The rates are according to the risks we take...not really for screwing strangers. That's the easiest part of this job IMO.

Damn that was a good post and really put things in perspective for me in terms of what you ladies do. Wow just wow.

Interesting response. I know this thread is about what motivates providers, but what motivates me is a need to connect on more than just a physical level. The ONLY providers I see more than once are the ones who truly seem to enjoy our time together and with whom there is some kind of connection, beyond the obvious physical? And these are really few!
