Single, looked for about 6 months last year and went on over 20 first dates with no luck so now I'm just sitting back and letting it come to me. I'm tired of looking and trying so I figure if it happens it happens if not well...I guess that's why I come on here.

The whole dating scene is a mess in this town and the online dating bit just seemed rather odd to me, so after some failed attempts, I simply told myself that I am still young and that I do not need to push myself into anything. If an opportunity presents itself for a relationship, then BONUS!!! Beyond that, I figured I can keep myself afloat and out of trouble until that time comes and of course roam around here chit chatting with a few of the interesting ladies that grace these boards. Who knows what that dangerous activity could lead to???

Agree. Did a lot of dating as well and came up empty on anything long-term. eHarmony was a gold mine for dates and in most cases sex but the process of having sex with a girl and two days later trying to explain that you're just not into her became a headache and made me feel like an asshole. Now I don't even make an effort to date. So yeah I'm single.

Yep, keep my house clean, do my own laundry and cooking. Don't sniff a shirt to see if its still wearable. Put the toilet seat down (both the seat and the lid) have supplies for overnight company. I say "please" and "thank you" I still hold doors for women. And I also believe it is ladies first for the O. Is this turning a few of you ladies on?

It does not mean my house is decorated with cutesy craft crap or that I give up mastery of my remote.
