You appear to be referring to the "the Republican candidate in 2004" who was so "over qualified" that he somehow lost focus on the perpetrator of 9/11?

Fortunately his successor in office was able to re-locate the "over qualified" candidates lost focus.

As a result, OBL sleeps with the fishes!

.... "his successor in office" couldn't find his ass with both hands ....

as "we" now know the "safe house" was identified before the 2008 election and was monitored throughout the remainder of the last administration and into this one awaiting the opportunity and verification.

But drowning supporters must find straws wherever they drift.

While I believe it to be a HUGE ASS-umption on your part, I cannot say with 100% certainty that the "successor in office couldn't find his ass with both hands." Perhaps so, but I suspect NOT! His manual dexterity is of no concern to me! With that said, I can say with 99.99999% certainty that OBL was located, identified and killed within "the successor's" first 30 months in office. Yes, OBL now sleeps with the fishes! On the other hand the predescessor searched for 70 months and left office holding his own nuts but not OBL's!

Why? The predescessor shifted his focus from OBL's to WMD's. You might ask, how many WMD's did GW find during that 70 month period? The answer: GW found the same number of WMD's as he did OBL's. Zero, nada, zilch! And to make matters worse, it came at a cost of roughly $3 trillion and 4500 American lives. That is what I call, "Zero bang for mega-mega-mega bucks!" If you're not counting, that's one "mega" for each trillion dollars! That $3 trillion price tag is tough to swallow in these difficult economic times. We sure as hell could put it to good use today! Could we not? And the 4500 American lives was an even more bitter pill to swallow!

That was the 1st Strikeout!

That being the case, I suppose it is understandable why the predescessor was unable to locate the perpetrator of 9/11. The perpetrator wasn't even in Baghdad and/or Tikrit. The entire time, OBL was approximately 2000 miles away! Dubya was lookin' in the wrong country all along! WTF is wrong with that picture? As for the WMD's that is understandable as well. Quite frankly, there were no WMD's left in Iraq to be found!

That was the 2nd Strikeout!

If you havn't looked at the scorecard yet, GW left office having struck out looking. Not once but twice!

But to some of you, GW did look quite striking while struttin' his stuff on the flight deck of The Abe while wearing a Naval Aviator's flight suit! It sure put a twinkle in LL's eyes!

BigTex, One thing that the previous grabless asser did was go to congress and get congressional approval to invade Iraq. Correct? We have been involved with this Libya conflict now for 5-6 months. When will Obama go to congress and get approval? If the previous president had done this everyone would have been outraged. How long will Obama's airwar continue?

Default Two Things That Are a Sure Thing

The Sun will Rise in The East
The Progressive-Liberals will "blame Bush".

They say the Sun has about 2 billion years of life left. I suspect the Progressive Liberals will still be blaming Bush even after that.

Just give LL a little time. The self-professed Democrat will next resort to placing all of the blame on Clinton's shoulders. He's been playin' with that stacked deck for years! I suppose Clinton was not enough of a "Progressive Liberal" to suit LL's fancy!

What do you expect from LL, the "Progressive Liberal" Democrat?

You were at Spec's shopping for coffee? WTF... You go to Starbucks to buy Whiskey?

Come to think of it, I did find some salvation in a whorehouse or three!

If you knew anything about coffee you wouldn't have said something so stupid.....well...maybe you would.

Downtown Spec's has the best coffee in town and is far better than anything at Starbucks.

It is the only place in the city of Houston that actually roasts their own coffee beans on the premises and the guy who does it for them has been doing it for over 30 years.

The most common mistake that just about all coffee bean retailers is that they over roast their beans. Spec's figured that one out and the old man knows what he is doing.

I to make the drive from Magnolia to Spec's on Smith St. just to get their coffee. Oh and while I'm there I stock up on my Whiskey. It's a great place.

THEN and my way home...I stop by the whorehouse. It's a great place too.

One thing different is that Obie has credentials as having been a Constitutinal Law professor at a distinguished law school of some national significance, and having had that qualification as POTUS, he "knows" that he doesn't have to ask Congress about going to ... errr..... ahhhhh.....

... supporting rebels in another country to resist its beloved dictator.

Sound familiar?

Just like he knows you can force people to buy health insurance or fine their ass if they don't...and if one plays word games the brainless will perceive that it is not really a "fine" it is only an "assessment"!

At least he knew when, why, and how to put one on.

You can spend the next year or so trying to "spit-shine" your excuse, but no matter how much spit and shine you put to it, it is still not genuine.

But as a loyalist I don't fault you for that, because most of the media is cranking up to do the same thing in hopes of fooling the voters yet again.

That will not be a great task for them as far as BT is concerned. Some snake oil contains addictive ingredients.

No one knows more about "snake oil" than you! If I am not mistaken, you bought into GW's "snake oil" pitch 4 times. You might be the only loyal Democrat on record who did so and will still admit to it.

You mean you did not vote twice for him to be the Governor? You're a better Democrat than I thought! If so, there is "HOPE" for you yet!
