Kubiak all over again. At that point I would have rushed Foster 2 straight downs. I would rather bet the game on Foster's ability to get those 2 yards over Fritz's ability to complete a pass for more than 1 yard.
Let me ask everyone one question. If against the Colts Fritz cannot score more than 17 points for the 5th time in 6 games do you bench him and play Mallett. You will have 11 days until your next game.

All in all, in spite of your out-of-left-field soapbox rant over Tony Romo, etc, you did actually point something out that was right: we won.

Mademoiselle Beaucott, I looked up Beaucott in the dictionary; Beaucott (noun) French; (Bow' kot); queer, flaming Romosexual, likes pictures of dandys (almost men) holding balls and who rub their hands in sweaty man taint for 2+ hours on Sundays.
You never saw me say I was a Texans fan, I was just pointing out the gay responses that were made. Not gay,huh... don't women also wear pads?
Now you probably won't read this till tomorrow, cause you and your 'fan' buds will be out celebrating the Supreme Court ruling in your favor today.
Now your posturing about Romo, heh... ha...ha....ha... Jerry Jones has been grooming him all these years for this day and time, huh? Left field.... son... look at his track record. I know.. I know... "but he is the best man for that system". Let's see how that works out for ya this year.. after last year... and the year before and the year before that and.......
Cheers!!

Heck for that matter you could have faked to Foster and let Fitz keep it, he is not a bad runner.

I really think it is time to give Mallet a try. At least he has an arm.

It doesn't matter who is back there, the offensive line is not consistent right now. I don't think Mallet is the answer...hopefully he is not getting high like he did in college. Did he run in college? I like that part of Fitzy's game. Savage has a hell of an arm but doesn't know the playbook yet... JUST LIKE John Football.

With our Ole Oline, Fitz is a better choice because of his escape ability. He has scrambled several times for first downs or near first downs. Conservative play calling and no WR deep threat is also a problem. Hopkkins is the best deep threat or the Demarius Johnson???? Hopkins is a jump ball on a deep route, Johnson caught one long TD. Fitz has the arm to throw the long ball, either we don't call it enough or we know our WR are too slow to get past the secondary.
And Fucking A, they should have ran the ball in OT. Or at least say fuck it an go for it on 4th and 2!!
I don't think Mallet is the answer as he is probably very slow and we got him via trade for a bag of dirty tampons Bellechik likes to sniff!!

Texans need to figure out a way to get the entire Arkansas Razorbacks offensive line not to declare for the draft and sign them as free agents. Man, those guys are big and strong.

Yeah, Mallet can't move....if you saw him play during his time at Arkansas you already know that. Decent arm, good height but really prefers a "clean pocket". He's not the answer for y'all (either). In a nutshell, the quarterback that's going to take the Texans anywhere is not on their roster at this time.

I know they can run block but can they pass block?

You could be correct there. I know Savage can scramble but I don't think he knows the play book yet. This stuff ain't easy and it took a Harvard Grad to pick it up quickly.

I am waiting to see what Teddy Bridgewater does when he is back on the field so I can bitch about them passing him up.

Well, actually Darth, the Texans didn't pass on him; they simply didn't get the chance to nab him to start the second round of the draft (and Houston definitely wasn't making him the number one to start the draft. Clowney is a stud and that was the right choice of course).
Seahawks had the last pick in the first round (number 32) and decided they didn't see a player they had to have at that slot....resulting in a call from Minnesota to work a trade (Vikings sent Seattle a 2nd and a 4th) and they get Bridgewater to close out the first round. Texans then take Su 'a-Filo with the next pick (number 33). The trade with Minnesota was easy since both teams had worked out out nice trade (player for picks) the year before (ie March 2013 trade: Percy Harvin).
If Houston had Bridgewater targeted at that spot, they probably shouldn't have waited....it might not have taken much to move up one slot to get him.

It's a picture from last year's game at LSU but same core.
LSU did burn them on some 5 & 6 man blitzes that game but that was probably more due to back assignments than the O-line.

What's the status on Clowney for Tonight? I am assuming he is no go because I haven't heard anything. Would be nice to have him to try to get to Luck, but probably a smart move to hold him out so he gets additional rest. Hopefully he will be ready soon.
What's your prediction for the game? My crystal ball is very cloudy, if we win we know it will be close because we can't score much. If we lose, it could be close or it could be a blow out do to the slow ass secondary trying to cover TY Hiltons fast ass. Hopefully the babymaker stops complaining about Thursday night games and gets some good lactaction so he will be ready to roll. He is the key for us.

Daddio, remember what I said about The Clown man. I was hoping I was wrong, but it doesn't look like it.
BabyMaker normally has big games against the Colts. If he decides to play, that will obviously help. The problem is until the Texans start throwing the ball down the field, teams are going to start stacking the box and take him out the game. I'm shocked they're not using Dre and Hopkins downfield more. They are 2 legitimate deep threats that are not being used enough.
If they don't contain Luck, it's gonna be a long night....

I think Clowney should be back for the game against Pitt, would make the most sense.
I have no idea what to make of the game, but I might be fucked either way, I have to choose between starting Luck, Dwayne Allen, and TY Hilton in our league....can't root against our boys, lol I'm Fucked!
Good news is that at least one of us will be back to .500, Satin.
