As one of the people who read that post back when it was originally made, I guess that makes me one of the elders. I had an aspd account back when it went web as opposed to Usenet, but the wife and I took a break from swinging for a few years(~16), and just now starting to stretch our legs again. I've had tangential ties to the various groups since the Usenet days, so I had accounts and lurked, but never posted all that much. I remember a lot of what people are talking about. The founding of Private Connections and the rise of screening. P411 as a freebie service for Private Connections clients. So long ago now.
I also remember the Usenet flame wars with trolls like Tucson guy, and the "no fat chicks" guy. Also scammers trying to say they had come up with a way of setting up legal brothels but wanted you to buy a $1300 up front "membership" to get access to their "clubs".
I also remember some really cool people like Colonel Jim, Leah from Mobile, and of course Sera P.(the Aussie whore).
