Can't post video, how about some Bruce Springsteen! Yeah remember him, washing dishes, then between sets he would come out and do a few songs....wait I'm having a senior moment.... Well it could have been him, let me think about it.....

My Monday sucked......I left some over ripe fruit (kumquats) out to long...... Fruit flies everywhere now.....I have disposed of the offending fruit and proceeded to clean the place top to bottom.
I figured this is the proper place to ask. How do you get rid of those pesky buggers??????

The only chemical free way I know of is one of those sticky hanging fly strips, only need it for a day unless you have a swarm going on. LOL

Put cider vinegar in a small bowl, cover it with plastic wrap. Punch a bunch of small holes in the wrap. Those pesky little buggers will go in & not come out. Good Luck!

Fruit fly update:: Thanks for the advice. While I can rest peacefully and unmolested in most of the domicile the kitchen remains a hot zone. Those pesky buggers seem to have changed tactics and I think its more of a war of attrition now. I'm just not sure who is winning.

Fruit Fly Update 2:: The tide has turned. It turns out it wasn't the lowly kumquat that was the offending fruit and the source of my fruit fly issue. Upon further review and investigation I found a bag off long forgotten produce in the bottom of my pantry. Said produce was disposed of, pantry cleaned, and traps set. Those pesky lil buggers are nowhere in sight now.
