So Senile Biden in a last ditch purely political attempt to try and help the Libtards flailing election chances is going to release even more oil from our strategic petroleum reserve

A President may not authorize limited releases from the strategic petroleum reserve when it is below 340M barrels. It’s at 400M barrels. The dementia addled Biden has used up our entire safety net for in a blatant attempt to buy votes because he is counting on the dumb and ill-informed Libtard voters to not know any better.

Key context. The 15m being released is the last of the original 180m they identified for release.

Additionally, they have finally confirmed some of their buyback criteria. Target is $67-$72 per barrel.

Conveniently released 3 weeks before the midterms in a blatant attempt to buy votes for Democrats by trying to keep the price of gas low until the midterms when it will likely soar higher.

And you know a target for their buyback criteria is meaningless drivel designed to try and fool the public (again counting on the libtards dumb and ill-informed voter base). Oil has not been that low for over a year.

So Senile Biden can wish in one hand for $67 oil and shit in his other hand and we all know which one will get filled first

- Senile Biden today said he "hoped" to buy oil from American oil producers at $67-$72/BBL.

- Senile Biden aides last month offered OPEC $80/BBL

- WTI closed today selling at $86/BBL

- The price of oil has not been as low as Senile Biden's $67-$72/BBL for over a year

- In 2020, Democrats blocked Trump's proposal to buy American oil at $24/BBL

Those are facts. No spin, just facts.

Gas was $3.39 today at Walmart in Moundsville WV, the cheapest I’ve bought it for in a while. Filled that sucker up until it was overflowing because it’s $3.99-4.09 just a few miles back, across the PA border. That particular station, and a Coen Oil that’s a couple miles north, were consistently below $2 under Trump. Good place to top off if you’re in the area.

Biden has lowered gas prices, according to him.

He’s either that stupid or thinks you are. I’m going with the former.

I has to dig pretty fucking far back to find this thread

WTI at 74.29
Brent at 79.04

3 million barrels to be purchased for Feb delivery

620 rigs in production as of this week. 100 more than right before Russia invaded Ukraine. 220 fewer than right before the pandemic.

We still have diesel and didn't run out in 25 days. That particular metric has increased to over 29 days. Far short of the almost 36 days in Nov 20. But that's not primarily an issue with domestic extraction. Those that failed to pay attention to my refining data links many, many months ago would know why if they connected the dots instead of crowing solely about upstream and midstream.

Current AAA Average at Pumps (regular)

$3.149 (National)
$3.683 (PA)
$3.772 (Pittsburgh)

The 10 cheapest prices in the area per Gasbuddy

This didn't age well. This thread is a cornucopia of angry bad predictions.

I’m not sure why you find that funny. Regardless of this dip in gas prices, democrats are still pure shit when it comes to energy policy.
