Their not reporting the news like you and Sean Hannity want them to doesn't mean they're biased. You want them to report it like Matt Drudge reports it, and until they do, you'll call them biased. That ain't gonna happen. Nor should it.
And even if there is a bias, it's a corporate bias, and not a liberal one.

Don't take it personally, I'll take Jack's much more honest answer over yours any day.

Jack's entitled to his opinion. But i think the reality is that sometimes the media gives the impression that it's liberal, and sometimes it gives the impression that it's conservative. ABC, NBC, CBS, NYT, Washington Post, they don't just piss you off with their coverage, they piss me off too. They seem to piss you off more, but given the propensity for your childish tantrums at times, that shouldn't surprise anyone.
You think the media should have made a bigger issue of Benghazi, i think the media should have made a bigger issue of Bush's war crimes. You think the national media should point out every time a citizen is "saved" by someone with a gun, i think the national media should point out every shooting in every city in every state - and not just the ones that involve elementary school kids or hot blondes. You think the media over-emphasized Bush's lack of intelligence, i think they over-emphasized a cum stained dress.
It works both ways, and given that the media pisses off both sides, i take that to mean they're probably doing about as good a job as can be expected.
Edit to add: The reality is that when the media "agrees" with our side (whichever side that may be), the natural inclination is to simply think they're being fair. But when they "disagree" with our side, then we think they're biased against us. So they're either fair, or biased against us with their coverage - which leads the more naive among us (sorry Jack) to see that as a net bias against "our side". And if you sit there and claim a media organization is always fair, then that just means they're probably biased in your favor.

The rest of your post was actually pretty good, but you just can't find it in you to have a discussion without these kind of shots. It sort of makes me wonder about your mental stability. I will save that for the other discussion in the mens lounge. We actually have flowing conversations in there without all of the disruption.

You're right, it was a little unnecessarily harsh, so let me re-phrase.
"...but given the propensity for your childish tantrums at times, that shouldn't surprise anyone. LOL"

Rooster nailed it when he said you are here only to argue, whether right or wrong. You are a waste of bandwidth and do not deserve an audience.

Great post as usual!! This was an off duty policed officer not a common citizen which doesn't bolster the arguement of gun nuts that an armed citizenry helps create a safer world. if police in texas are like those in NYS, they are essentially on duty at all times.
The media is not liberal!!If someone believes that this story not being nationally reported shows a bias, then i would say that the lack of national reporting on the 50 or so people that are murdered everyday is proof of a conservative bias to protect the Gun nuts. A liberal media would call Boehner full of shit when he calls the proposed defense cuts, less than10% of it's budget, "devastating" yet not characterizing the other proposed cuts that way. The "liberal media" can't get the message out that tax cuts haven't produced a balanced budget since before the time of reagan. When Boehner or another REP calls tax hikes " job killers" the media generally doesn't point out that reagan increased taxes 12 times and clinton increased taxes and job growth exploded. Anyone who buys the idea that the media is liberal is a mindless sheep drinking the right wing koolaid.

According to the Buffalo News today, 50 murders last year in the city,43 PT related. Anyone who doesn't realize that most of the murders nationwide are PT related is a fool. The sensible option is legalization, But the " Freedom" loving conservatives in america can't seem to bear the Idea of it.
