Jinny, what the issue at 84 lakes? Other than a general rip to fish, was Asian carp in the lake? If that guy did that, he should be shot!

Eaglehorse,
I have never been to that particular pay lake ( or any in PA to be honest)
but what you said is the news down in Wash Co. They did have Asian carp and were shut down.
Luckily they were in an enclosed area and not able to get into any neighboring streams.
Unlike the Rusty Crayfish and the Goby

BTW, my page count lists this as 31 also - so depending, Jinny may be well past 20 if that's her goal.
As for fishing - I didn't this weekend, but got outdoors, so not a loss. However - does anyone have any experience with some of the local quarries that carry bass? A friend took me to one that's long since been mined out - and it was some of the best bass fishing of my like! Lots of bass, panfish, etc., some really good-sized ones, etc.,
The coal company shut down access since then, but now wondering - does anyone else have any similar experiences? I would love to find some smaller quarries and see if there were some less populated quarries/mini-lakes like this.
I'd normally be concerned about dragging a thread off-topic - but hell, in this thread, we're ranging pretty far & wide as far as topics are concerned.

I see this is still active and wide ranging. Hope Jinny gets her bobble head but I think I would rather let her see mine do that in person or have her show me the same.

You want to try some awesome ponds and lakes for bass?
Go to the AEP lands in Ohio for a weekend.
Over 600 small lakes and ponds on reclaimed minelands, free camping and bass that could eat my dog.
No kidding, the fuckers are HUGE!
And panfish that are pan sized...
Still know of a trophy bass lake in SW pa but it has a slot limit.
And it's my secret....
Haven't located any quarries in PA yet but then I haven't been looking too hard.
