Governor Fucking Cuomo talks about the curve flattening after a few days of new cases going down in NY, though obviously we are talking about Texas but I'm following your Yankee orthodoxy.

So all your non-Engineer math training is meaningless for this discussion if you can't concede you are talking about something different than I am.

You are talking about a cumulative graph, we are talking about a daily new case graph.

https://covidtracking.com/data/state/texas#historical

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...rus-cases.html

We are also way below capacity here in Texas - so stop freaking out, please.

FF - Texas is well below capacity in the Wuhan virus cases. We have hospital and ICU beds.

I am shocked that Cuomo and deBlasio have not tried to ship their NY cases to Texas for us to care for . Out of the congested sewer that is NY - and after they specifically told NYer;s it was safe to go out to play while Trump had quarantined China.

Hypocrites.

Cuomo and Deblasio are trying to escape their culpability for no planning/preparedness and would be happy to dump it on anyone else so they can glorify their socialist totalitarianism. They have among the highest taxes and government coercion in the US - and Cuomo/DeBlasio is what they voted and get for it.

NYer's deserve their fate!

Texas had 146,467-133,226 tests tallied from yesterday = 13,241 tests

Only 14624-13906 were positive = 718 new positive cases with massive testing.

Cuomo was late.

Abbott was not.

Seriously? After ALL my lectures and explanations, you are still citing the statistics from a SINGLE DAY as proof of something? There were other days - in your own statistics above - where the new cases when down for a day only to make an even bigger rebound the next day.

Try reading this article:

https://news.trust.org/item/20200415213634-wt4o0

After seeing a one day drop, the US rebounded to suffer the two biggest death tolls on back to back days.

Pay attention to this part:

"The United States recorded its first coronavirus fatality on Feb. 29. It took 38 days to reach 10,000 deaths and just nine more days to go from 10,000 fatalities to 30,000. The previous high single-day death toll was 2,364 on Tuesday."

THAT is what you call exponential growth, retard.

It took 38 days to get the first 10K deaths.

But only 9 days to get the next 20K deaths.

STOP CITING SINGLE DAY DROPS AS EVIDENCE WE HAVE TURNED A CORNER.

what's the point of this hyperbole? you are SHOCKED that New York has not tried to "ship" cases to Texas? how would you even do that? those people are at death's door.

by the way, Cuomo and Newsome are polling 35 higher than Trump, for there handling of the pandemic.

Default Latest Texas Data...let's continue to move on

https://txdshs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/...01e8b9cafc8b83

182K total tests. Only 19K cases reported. A lot of unnecessary testing. Approx 90 per cent hit rate.

Note: The estimated number does not include data from any cases reported prior to 3/24/2020

That probably because the testing was inaccurate IMO.

477 fatalities out of a state of 28MM

Click the "Fatalities Demographic" tab.

Of those cases investigated almost nobody has died under age 40. Most people have been over 80.

Click the "Hospitals Statewide" tab.
TONS of capacity unused. We "bought" time. Through the nose.

Click the "Hospitals by Region" tab. Look at "Q - Harris"

TONS of capacity unused. Confirms my observation of going by the local hospital.

Stop Panicking Irrelevant.

Only 1 out of every 10 symptomatic patients even test positive for the disease.

Texas needs to reopen.

I doubt many of the people were symptomatic.

We need to continue to smartly reopen as a country. Soon these "leaders" will find out with everyone wearing mask it's hard to identify who threw the Molotov cocktail.

Thank U CT - Please provide the poll and its results, date. etc.

I care not "polls' - so What. Are they running for POTUS - Think before U write a rebuttal.

I made the point to shock - and it worked .

made you think about it .

Now the DPST's are doing everything to keep the economy shut down for "too early" reasons - all of which add up to - we want a severe depression so we can beat Trump in Nov 2020.

Really - transferring patients is done under legal restrictions and conditions. One does not put the patient at risk.

Not to say the DPST's wouldn't do just that if they thought they could get away with it.

and that includes gov Gruesome, and Don cuomo. !
