He doesn't answer hard questions on these types of subjects. He just wants to play his little game of "I have one up on you" by posting pictures that are photo shopped and articles that are written by shills.

I'm always up for a good conspiracy theory, Jim. But this one is bullshit.

But you are right about LittleLiberalEva.

Ok so in 1969 we solved all the radiation issues with the Van Allen Radiation Belts. So why are the engineers with the Orion Project which is intended to send a manned space craft to Mars concerned with them now?

Jim, they are using much more advanced and sensitive equipment. If you listen to the engineer in the video, he is talking about protecting the equipment. Apollo went to the moon on, comparatively, a Chevy Big Block 454. Try to damage that thing. Now we are using new materials, smaller equipment, and the computers are much more sensitive.

We know how to protect people from radiation. What we don't know is how the equipment will react. Voyager has endured immense amounts of radiation, and is still going, but it is using older technology. The Van Allen Belt is not that big a problem.

Radiation isn't that big a problem? Ok, we can end this debate on that note.
