Hells YES, you should!!
There's no need to ask this publicly.
Mrs. SofaKingFun has a nice ring to it, don'cha' thinck?
But, alright, since my Magic 8-Ball leaked all of its water out, let's ask The Hobby Duck.
Oh great and all-knowing duck of the Hobby, should THE Alpha 210 change her name to anything other than Mrs. SofaKingFun?
Told ya'!
Heh!

There you go TheAlpha210, I think your public has spoken.
BTW, your name, Alpha, does come up often and positively during social conversations among horny hobbyists when meeting at local watering holes.
A long time ago a certain red headed soccer mom was suppose to get tbe three of us together for what would be my first three-way. Unfortunately she went UTR bsfore fantasy became a reality. Very unfortunate indeed.
Please retain retain your Nom de (damn I cannot remember the french word for love or passion), I hope you get tbe idea.
You are singular. Embrace the uniqueness.

"Brand recognition"
Personally.. you are the sole reason that I finally joined ECCIE..after years of lurking and board surfing I just could not get over how some providers seemed to have instant name /brand recognition and the respect of both their peers and solicitors..the name "theAlpha210" seems to always be at the head of that class. To change that in anyway would diminish the branding that you have diligently earned. I hope to experience meeting you in private soon and thus accomplishing my reason for joining.

I don't think you should change it. Your name is your brand (& I like it!). Even though some of your regulars might know who you are once you change, you could lose the new clients who want to see you but haven't yet.

Coming from hobbyist who has a handle that few remember but me, I'll say people knowing your brand is important for a provider. Yours is established and like what Lucky Charm(new name, but you already knew that) said unless you have a reason you need to change it, it's better to stick with an established brand (ask C*** about changing to New C*** in the 1980's, or R***o Sh**k dropping the R***o and calling themselves THE SH**K). Don't mess with what works.
Netx9 pointed out female Alphas in human society. We also tend to forget that in a lot of cultures throughout history they were matriarchal in nature and led by Alpha females or at least as high as the males. The animal kingdom is the same way. especially with larger animals like wolfs and cats, an alpha male and an alpha female. We see alpha with a male connotation but it is used for both sexes.

The question is not should you change your name but why almost every guy here wants to be Mr Omega?

THE Alpha,
I've never had the pleasure (certain it would be!) of meeting you but some of our mutual acquaintances have nothing but kind things to say about you, beyond just your legendary skills, but about the person. The Alpha seems a more than apt description. It may be cliche, but true in this case... Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Actually, here is an idea...
"THE 210"
i like it... Let's try my comments above one more time:
210,

What do you think?

To The Alpha:
I was of the thought that you shouldn't change you're name. Because you were original and unique. However I believe you chose wisely. Congrats on the new handle.
