I keep very weird hours and a lot of time not able to plan ahead that much.. ive just about stopped hobbying cause my favorite providers availability does not match up with mine. It would be great to have a short notice availabilty register..

You can post all of the polls you like, discuss it ad nauseam, jump up and down, pat your head and rub your belly, etc but as long as I have a say the SNA thread is a dead issue in Austin, Waco, Temple, Killeen, and Bryan/College Station.
BTW, the owners are not fans of the SNA threads either.

Haha Beagle! You figure you've made yourself a friend here? Told you were pissing into the wind. How foolish do you look now trying to do an end run? I'll just say "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get" lol really the more fitting quote is " Blank is as, Blank does" but I have to choose my words carefully! Some little bitch might go all squealy!

That right there is the best argument for it. Example, I never go to the strip clubs or cruise the streets, thus I never open those forums that deal with such. It's a waste of my time.

When I looked at the previous SNA threads, the recurring problem was with providers posting a time range for their availabilities and I'm assuming that was the main/only source of your grief. What I'm suggesting is not to redo the SNA thread and expect a different outcome......but to relax on the guidelines, by removing the time range listing limitation.
In the end, it was just too much of a PITA (translate that to pain in my ass) to allow it to continue. If you have never tried being a Mod, you probably would not understand.
Oh no......I won't pretend to understand what it's like being a mod.....but I know it's not a task I want to be stuck with.......I won't be that dedicated...

The poll was not created as a means to pressure any of the mods into relenting......no sir, that would be underhanded I set up a poll because I wanted to know if there would be many posters opposed to the idea. And I set it up as a public poll, so I could find out from the naysayers why they would be so against it......because I honestly can't think of any compelling reason anyone would be, other than the mods being driven crazy with RTMs......which I assume will be addressed with the removal of that one particular rule....
BTW, the owners are not fans of the SNA threads either.

The SNA thread was a new idea, so it's not surprising that we'd face kinks the first time it's done...... At a glance, it appears that the problem can be fixed with some minor adjustments, instead of throwing the idea out altogether.
I'm a man of reason, as I believe you to be, too.....just explain why else you don't think the SNA thread would work, even with the rules adjustment.......and I'll drop the subject.........

So what kind of precedent does that set Beagle?
Rules were in place.
Ladies could not follow the rules.
So Relax the rules?

I think an SNA thread would be very useful. Since I have an SO, it's easier for me to do same day when I'm free vice planning several days out. Kind of limits who I can see since I can only go with who's just recently advertised and is online at the time I'm on the prowl for strange.

I try too hard? What part of no fucking way do you not get?
Maybe you should volunteer to waste all your free time babysitting hookers that can't follow directions, and explaining to dipshits why you choose not to have a dumbass thread that you've tried two times, and locked down to give them time to comprehend the rules?

Well said.....but aren't rules are always set with the purpose of having processes run smoothly towards the end goal?
I'll echo the sentiments of some in the previous SNA threads.......why be so fixated on such a rule? If the limitation of posting time range was especially important, help me understand why it is.
I look at the SNA thread in SA, and it appears to be working out fine.....
While some may not appreciate Mokoa's style of moderating, what criticisms do you have for the SA SNA thread itself?

Define "short term availability?"
Obviously it should mean "From Now"
Till when?

Here is the issue as it stands from a Staff perspective. Providers are allowed one ad per week in up to 5 Metro Areas in the Provider Ads Forum. They are allowed one ad per week in their home Forum from 6:00 am Thursday until 9:00 pm on Sunday in the Weekend Lineup Forum. It is designed this way to keep the playing field level and not allow a particular lady an advantage over another in terms of "spamming" the ad Forums.
The Short Notice Availability Forum issues were that Some of the ladies saw it as a place to put a daily or in some cases 3x daily ad. The playing field was no longer level.
It is as simple as that. The whole idea is to make it equitable for all of the providers that advertise here and as we all know, some ladies try to exploit every loophole there is!!

How about a thread where only the guys post? No ladies allowed! The ladies respond by PM or email or phone number if listed. Then the guys could get creative with their ads! How about I give an example.
Hello Ladies...
This is SL. My ATF had something come up. My plan B took a shit. This is a site wide BLUE BALLS alert. I need your help pronto.
Only hot chicks need apply. $250 or less for the hour and I want to rock your world. 130 lb. ladies or less please I'll have my scale. Must be willing to allow pictures. In call or out call both OK.
PM ASAP.... if this thing doesn't go away in four hours I need to call the doctor!

If the providers who post are truly available on short notice every single day, the other providers can rest assure that it's just going to reflect negatively on those who do it. And if anyone posts, then miraculously becomes unavailable, the provider had better be prepared for the backlash when the issue comes to light.....
The playing field was level in the sense that every provider had equal access to the thread.

But I see your point about some providers exploiting loopholes, thereby gaining an advantage over others. As far as I can tell, the source of the loophole was through violation of the time range listing rule. And if we do away with that, it'll bring everyone back down to a level playing field.
Say we set a limit on number of times a provider can post in 24 hrs, and some violate that.......issue a warning, and then points. I'd be interested to see how many repeat offenders there'd be.......no one would sympathize with repeat offenders taking timeout from the boards.

I'm probably still overlooking other details......and that's what this thread is for......to understand everyone's position on the matter.
Don't feel like you're raining on my parade just because you don't hold the same views. No personal grudge against anyone who doesn't agree......it's just another forum topic
