I know that Baloney Pony has me on ignore so not sure how useful this comment is. But we are definitely born with them. I had them when I was 4 years old. I have vivid memories of looking at them in the mirror as a very small child. And I don't think mine are very large. I've looked at a lot of vaginas and I'm pretty sure mine are medium sized. You're probably right that they get bigger around puberty, but if that's true, I never noticed.

Like any skin, they can become stretched with age. I've heard of an African tribe where the women pull on them constantly to make them stretch as large as possible. I would imagine that if a woman had fairly large ones to begin with and she had lots of sex, the constant friction of the penis pulling them in and out of her vagina would stretch them out and make them larger.

Seems to me that if size of labia correlates positively with post pubescent age, it would be only slightly, since they vary much more from person to person then they do from one person over the course of her lifetime. It would be a weird trait to look for as an age marker since a 12 year old can have larger piss flaps than a 40 year old. I would think natural selection far too efficient to cause men to subconsciously view labia minora as an age indicator when there are so many other more obvious indicators such as breast perkiness, wrinkles, etc.

My guess is that it's more of an aesthetic choice, the way that some men like blue eyes and some prefer brown.

But that's just a hypothesis. Wonder if anyone's studied it?

I don't think I have large labia minora, but I guess it's up to others to judge. One is definitely bigger than the other. Based on the lady parts I've seen, I'm thinking mine are about average. I won't be offended if someone out there disagrees... but nobody has ever told me I have large ones and I've never heard of any rumor that it was said about me back channel.
