How short are we talking here? Anne Hathaway short (the style she had at the Oscars)? U personally don't care for women's haircut to be that short. But if you're talking about down to your neck line, I think that's cute.

I chopped mine off 2 years ago and I regretted it almost immediately after... Now it has grown out really long again and it looks great but it's really hard to style and extremely long hair. I think it's normal to consider chopping when you come to this point especially when it is 100+ degrees outside but my advice is don't do it

I had very long hair cut 18 inches off at one time. I kept long hair for years because the guys liked it. But it was so boring to me, to easy to pull up in a ponytail. I fix it everyday now & I get compliments on mine everyday But mine is not a bob which is boring too. Go try wigs on, even buy one wear it see what kind of feedback you get. I get a itch for long hair every now and then, so I have a few. I have never regreted it and don't know that I will ever grow it long again. A good stylist will be honest and tell you the best short cut that would fit your face. If you do cut it off donate it to locks of love, it will make a happy child or two.

If it's long you can do various style things with it. When it's short, that's it, one look and you have to make it work for every occasion and every mood.

Not true, Short hair can be styled many different ways. Long hair is more limited because it is so long weighs down, now you can pull it up in different twist.

I was with my family in NOLA and took my Dad to get a haircut (his normal place) and ended up getting one myself. I should have realized when he was like 100 years old that I shouldn't, but I was with my dad and being nice. All of the sudden, I see a lump of hair hit the floor from his first pass. Result: It is horrible and with my hair, that's saying something. It turned out so bad, my mom asked me to get a hat. One of the lovely providers in this thread has met me before and knows I wasn't working with that much to begin with. lol

My advice: your hair in your photos is beautiful. Keep your hair... (or loan me some back). Last time mine was like this I was in the military.

Kaylee, I'm sure whatever you do will be beautiful, but I do believe, as someone else mentioned, that not everyone has the bone structure to pull off short hair. Get some opinions for yourself on that.

Might I suggest a healthy trim, some different layers, and maybe even some color. You might be able to get the change you are looking for, while still keeping some length.

If you're wanting a dramatic hacking, I'd be curious what's happening to drive you towards such a big dramatic change. As long as you know. Ijs...

Some girls look good with short hair and girls don't.

Personally I love long hair.

The only two looks I know for short hair, and we're talking short hair, not the 'shroom or beagle ears modified pageboy, are the "just got out of bed/fresh fucked" look and the "just got out of bed fresh fucked look with gel for work and/or a date" look. Other than that, short is short. Deborah Ferguson on channel 5 short. It's a fucking q-tip look, no matter what you do with it!

As long as you are comfortable in it, you're going to be beautiful!

Kaylee, "you are beautiful just the way you are." Why threaten such a great thing with scissors?
