Goodbye/ Retiring / Im never coming back?

I think some of the ladies announce their retirement as both an ad and a way to say goodbye without having to send a separate PM to everyone. The problem, is many ladies--and guys--who announce their retirement end up coming back. So the announcements have no credibility.

I can't even remember the last time I played but if I read that a lady is retiring it means I definitely would not be interested in seeing her. I mean, why would I want to see someone I could never see again? I prefer a familiar "friend". Just more comfortable.

Now if the announcement came from someone I had seen before and loved, it might have spurred me into making an appointment when I was active.

My retirement is plain and simple. For some ladies including myself, we entered the hobby because our college degrees could not get us our desired job/career and some of us sought a desperate way to pay off our student loans. Yup, that was me a few years ago. In recent weeks, I landed a job that would exceed my earnings as VLB. I no longer have to whore myself out and sleep with strangers and lose respect and dignity to earn a dollar. I can now look at myself in the mirror since I finally found a profession in the civilian world that I am proud of.

And for all of you "men" who think it is cute to poke fun of the ladies retiring, don't undermine the ladies who went to college and used the hobby to advance themselves until they found their desired career after years of searching for it in this recession. Trust me, being a provider was not something I wanted "to be" as a little girl and after waking up this past month, I realized I never want to go back to it. There are a lot of messed up people on these boards. And...even some ladies will be doing this until they are grandmas....I couldn't. That is the ultimate wake-up call.

Unlike some ladies, I have posted my legit retirement in both the weekend line-up and provider ads (never once initiated an ad in Co-ed documenting my retirement) since I built a successful brand since 2009 with nothing other than stellar reviews. The only other ladies I can think of who have worked tirelessly in building a similar brand/reviews are CG4U and Sonya. For me, documenting my retirement in the appropriate forums such as the weekend line-up and provider ads was to reach out to all the gentlemen who have seen me and reviewed me over the years to inform them they can get my information before I leave the building as I do not want to lose touch with some of my friends. Most of my clients hardly post on these boards, so a reminder is necessary. I don't see anything wrong in that. I hardly post in co-ed and have posted my retirement in the appropriate advertising forums. When you have built a brand and have close to 200 reviews, it is important to let the people who built you know where you are going. That is what a good businessman/woman does.

I have no intention of ever going back to the hobby. I am honestly tired of it and I can not respect myself while remaining in it. I am glad most of my friends know the real reason why I am leaving and it is most definitely a financial one. No disrespect to anyone, but with my reputation, I do not need to lie about retirement...in fact, I look forward to it.

I am very grateful and thankful that the hobby got me from point A to point B and that is what my intent was for entering it. Now, I found a career and am grateful for it and am thankful for all the clients who saw me to get me from point A to point B. They deserve to know of my retirement so that they can keep in touch after I leave. Yes, I am blunt, but I am glad I have awakened and realized what I have done all of these years to earn a dollar. Sad.

Thank you, Nena! I made sure that I never plagued the co-ed area. All of my posts in the past 6-7 months have been in the ad forums. Also, I made a promise to myself in 2009 that the very second I found a job which exceeded or had the potential to exceed my earnings as VLB (((((you have to remember we are still in a recession))))), I would leave the hobby permanently. I have to go where the money is at. Plain and simple.

You most certainly have a great brand and reputation and although we've never met, I would have never associated the words "whore" or "undignified" with You. Not trying to sugar coat what we do in this hobby but in my mind, there are certainly distinctions that can be made... Like that between a crack Ho turning tricks for her man or for her next fix and a courtesan. I prefer the latter - companionship with a mutual respect for each other and some mutually enjoyable sensual activities. I, and many others here and out there, would consider you in that category as well.

That really came across pretty rude... I'm really surprised that no other providers have said anything about that. I'm not a provider and that offended me.

I don't think anyone is making fun of anyone retiring... From what I've read, they are, myself included, poking fun at those who retire every other month and feel the need to post about it in the COED thread.

Sorry you felt that way, I could have never of guessed it by reading your ads and posts, I always thought you enjoyed what you were doing.
