I don't think it matters that she lied or not. It doesn't even matter if you lied on your "no" review as well. New providers will look at hobbyists that write "No" reviews as guys who expect a certain or particular level of service during a session. Also, hobbyists who write frequent "No" reviews may just be very hard critics.

It doesn't matter that she lied? Not that this is going to destroy my life, but she has certainly inconvenienced me by preventing me from seeing ladies I wanted to see. And she has caused them to lose business by influencing them to not see me. I would have hoped they would have looked at all my reviews and said, "Wait a minute! He's seen a lot of ladies and this sort of thing never came up before", but that didn't happen. I figure they just took her word for it. Of course, you see the same thing here when the threads aren't shut down. There is a current thread by a lady complaining about the review she got and generally, it seems everybody has piled up on her ... unfairly, it seems to me. I also wonder why some threads are summarily shut down and other are allowed to continue to flow

I think you are right. I know two clients who are very critical about providers and each have told me it's because they are honest and feel the men lie too much on reviews. One client tried to get in with a provider I know and she wouldn't see him based on his NO reviews - he got in eventually and wrote a good review because that was part of her agreeing to see him. He has told me her specialty that gets YES reviews isn't really nothing special and suspects a lot of deal making on both ends. The other client hasn't really seen anyone I know but because he wrote something about me, people know I've seen him. He's got a bad rep around here for being a know it all, etc - I didn't research that but have had people ask why I would want to meet him? Um, he's incredible. A know it all? Literally yes, as I suspect his IQ close to genius but not outright for recognition as others see it. He's technical in his thinking as most genius level minded people are. Whoever passed him up or didn't treat him special, missed out - he can offer a lot, like a successful boss whom you respect as a mentor.

So many ways to hobby, so many reasons ... Subjective.

If the session deserves a review (good or bad) I'll post one. Much like when I make a reservation on OpenTable and get a followup email asking for a review. If the food/service was bad or exceptional I'll post my comments. If it's just "Ok" food/service then why bother?

I remember sitting in a jacuzzi with a woman I had reviewed a month or so prior. She waited until the music and vodka had relaxed me, then while she had my jewels in her hand, she asked, "so what did you mean when you said in your review that...." (Sorry, can't remember the line exactly, but trust me when I tell you it was both diplomatic and honest).

In one of my proudest moments, I calmly took a sip of my martini and replied (balls still in her grip), "well, darlin', if it offends you so much I suppose you should just stop reading my reviews".

My manhood still intact, I learned that night not to worry too much about anyone's reaction to what you write on a review.

Reviews are pointless. They are so full of BS they offer no value. Some are done by WKs, some are done for discounts, some are done for PA credit, and the rest are done as threADs for the provider. It becomes difficult to differentiate between an honest review and one posted to another motivation.

1. they take a lot of time.
2. cant make up a bunch of crap like most can, who wants to know i blew my load in five minutes
3. certain people will just rag your ass, saying thats not enough info, more details, what did you pay. i generally dont mind putting price in but once i got a great deal,, introduced a gal to the board but got flamed for not posting what i paid. first it would made me look cheap an done the gal a disservice as other cheap ass guys are gonna want what i got for what i donated. an that wasnt happening.

just my thoughts on it

I stopped reviewing a long time ago when I realized a majority of reviews are worthless for my selection of someone. When I first started back on the old board, they were helpful in selecting someone I would like to see. Now, I use other methods that work just as well. P411 and okay's work better.

While many of my sessions since then have been review worthy, taking the time to post them only to have them wind up buried behind WK's, pimples and crew handlers is pointless. Hell I have even stopped looking in the review section for the most part since its degraded into one-upmanship and obvious pandering from the 'top' reviewers.

I may read one if someone I am familiar with posts it, someone i know isn't out to drive business to his crew or pad his pocket.

I used to do reviews religiously and promptly, but now, unless it's really spectacular, really bad, or the provider ask me to, I am reluctant to do so because I have plenty of PA, and it takes a lot of time to do it. Maybe I will make myself sit down for 30 minutes and write them every 2 weeks. The problem is that is I may not remember all the events accurately.

I don't lie in my reviews and I will describe the ladies accordingly. I don't like surprises when I show up at the door and seeing a different lady described. Photos can be very deceiving (as we all realize)

I don't like reviews because I don't need men trying go reach me based on another's experience. Reviews are subjective..the clients I've had this far have really had to find me. My ad is very different, no pics, no contact number - it requires work to get in touch. The ones from Eccie don't come based on an ad, they come based on something I've wrote - a clear indication they are literate and not just interested in 'sex' ... It's all in the advertising. Some gals make a ton based on their skills and some guys come just based on skills - for them it works.

People hobby in all different ways for all different reasons. I've had many clients tell me I'm the only gal they've seen more than once and I have many clients tell me they like that I don't have reviews.

The experience should be organic - not scripted. What client #1 experiences when he enters the door, isn't the same as what client #2 experiences. Yesterday one client had a body rub then gave me tax advise. The second brought lunch, I taught him the East Coast swing to Elvis, he asked to play with my dog and then had a body rub.

They will both be back...repeat business is what every business owner should strive for. Turn one appointment in to three. No reviews needed for that. I personally feel the men who consider reviews a necessity, the least likely to return - they enjoy the variety and that's fine. I'm not for them and they are not for me.

I've heard from many that the gals give incentives for reviews - that deliberately speaks to the integrity of the reviews itself. Subjective.

I know two providers around my age and in the same general proximity - we've seen a lot of the same clients. Two of my loyal regs seen them each only once and wrote a good review - they didn't write me one but come back, often. I'd rather have the latter any day of the week.

As a matter of fact, those girls have each raved about a client they consider a fav. He contacts me for appointments and I blow him off - I didn't enjoy him. The one client that I enjoyed so much I actually now date (or let him use me bcuz I'm an idiot..not sure) they each did not really find anything special about him. He's a 'typical hobbyist' they said - I think he's the most incredible guy I know and I'M VERY SELECTIVE. The way you have your favs, so do we - reviews really say nothing...but I do understand for the men, you are PAYING - it is imperative you don't get ripped off by 20 mins, get set-up for a robbery or show up to see a lady who misrepresents herself in pictures.
Right on, MissPriss! I wish I could write as well and as eloquently as you. I feel the exact same way about reviews and ask for no reviews. When I first started, I needed the reviews, but I have plenty now and ask all my clients to not review/talk about me. Sometimes the guys get carried away and share some personal info that I wouldn't like to be shared (I know this cause he emailed me a copy of the review after he posted it). Secondly, it leaves me feeling uneasy reading the way I am described in the reviews. This has been working for me for a long time now. :-)

Agree BLM

I will bump a review, add comments, if I agree to the service of the provider.

But this is all fantasies

Here is my own list of top reasons as to why I review. Now, keep in mind that #1 is the main reason, but I asked myself under what circumstances would I write a review if I didn't "have to", which is how I came up with 2-5:

1. PA credit.
2. To give guys intel on a new girl.
3. Because I'm asked.
4. Because the girl offered a special for reviews (I've only been offered a free session once, and I declined...less out of principle and more because I wasn't interested in the woman).
5. A "no" recommendation. That has happened just a handful of times in my hobby career.

I don't lie. I try to be both honest and diplomatic (unless the woman is just awful, then screw diplomacy). I don't make up activities that didn't happen. I see no point in any of that, since review credit isn't based on how badass I come across. I've never understood the guys that felt the need to do otherwise.
