Should Obama be impeached and can he be impeached are too completely different matters. Yes, he absolutely should be impeached for governing outside of the Constitution.

Since the Demonrats control the Senate, Obama won't be removed from office even if the House voted to impeach him. Obama could murder someone and the Demonrats would say it didn't rise to the level of an impeachable offense.

My advantage is that I know nothing about Holder, so can come fresh to the issue. No doubt he has made some good decisions and some bad decisions. The article included some of the remarks, but a bit out of context. Have any of you watched the video, which is itself edited ?

I think he was addressing both a more general problem (the media and violence) and a specific group (young men fascinated by guns). I don;t think he was addressing older men with legal weapons used for legal purposes with a mature attitude towards arms.

You can see both sides in a Tarantino film - the violence is sexy, the entertainment industry loves guns and violence.

I can acknowledge myself that violence has some fascination for me, whether it is a 1960's Dracula film, spaghetti westerns and their ilk (Bring Me The head of Garcia watsit) or something more recent. There must be something in us which finds catharsis in watching violence. But have we gone too far?
