@ozmosys: Agent 99... that dates you, LOL
All, if you post you gotta add the equation that leads us to the next number, unless we are stuck, and then we finally can go back to hobby'ing ...
Any providers here to help us so we can get to biz?
Happy New Year y'all

I could have watched it in syndication. But no, it was during the slide-rule era. And those were some sorry contraptions. I was glad to toss mine in the dust bin of history. Get Smart didn't age very well, either. Or Barbara Feldon, for that matter.
(3 squared + 2) squared + 1 = 122
summation of (2 to the fourth + 1) – 30 = 123
(3+2) cubed – 1 = 124
(3+2) cubed = 125
summation of 2 to the fourth – 10 = 126
summation of 2 to the fourth – 3 squared = 127
2 to the seventh = 128

A few easy ones:
2 to the seventh + 1 = 129
2 to the seventh + 3 -1 = 130
2 to the seventh + 3 = 131
2 to the seventh + 3 + 1 = 132
summation of (2 to the fourth) - 3 = 133
summation of (2 to the fourth) - 3 + 1 = 134
summation of (2 to the fourth) - 1 = 135
summation of (2 to the fourth) = 136
summation of (2 to the fourth) + 1 = 137
summation of (2 to the fourth) + 3 - 1 = 138
summation of (2 to the fourth) + 3 = 139
summation of (2 to the fourth) + 3 + 1 = 140
Check me, 1st day at work is a bitch ....

Beginning and ending with a palindrome:
2 to the seventh + 3 + 10 = 141
(3 to the fourth – 10) * 2 = 142
summation of 2 to the fourth +10 – 3 = 143
12 squared = 144
2 to the sixth + 3 to the fourth = 145
130 + 2 to the fourth = 146
12 squared + 3 = 147
2 to the fourth * 3 + 10 squared = 148
13 squared – 20 = 149
3 * (10 squared) / 2 = 150
2 to the fourth * 10 – 3 squared = 151

Well Janine, I can help.. as you did not post a new number, you have to pay a price and it helps that I had you on my list to see already.
(Yup JustJane had already made an advanced installment)
The rule is: You have to post the next number or more with your post. so Pay up !!!
Here I catch you up:
2 to the eigth - 10 squared = 156
2 to the seventh + 30 - 1 = 157

Where is it written that you get to make all the rules when you start a thread? A thread is by its very nature an unruly child ... a wild animal who makes its own rules.
Now on the plus side, you did come up with this fun math game, and I'm curious whether it can be done all the way to 2013. I think it can, but I could be wrong.
In the meantime, let's be nice to the few ladies who grace us with their presence. And by "nice", I mean "don't pressure them to do math". Especially the ones that say that it's making them horney.
I propose that every night be ladies night in this thread. Daytime too, just to be clear on the rules.
All in favor, say aye. All opposed, same sign.
2 to the seventh + 30 = 158
2 to the seventh + 31 = 159
2 to the fourth * 10 = 160
13 squared - 2 cubed = 161

Right, unruly and I make the rules... capiche???
OK, OK, I was just trying to get her to PM me with a deal, ok. I like numbers and I am cheap... so forgive me, lol ...
BTW, I am sure this thread won't get us any plus points with the ladies, geeks, eeeek, but we'll see, I like your amendment to my arbitrary rules (my hidden objective was to find smarties out there and get some)...
Ladies, feel free to comment... guys, rules apply... they are more like guidelines anyway
3 to the fourth * 2 = 162
3 to the fourth * 2 + 1 = 163

Bargaining power, eh, Don Juan? Sounds vaguely European, much like "capiche".
10 square + 2 to the sixth = 164
13 squared – 2 squared = 165
summation of 2 to the fourth + 30 = 166
13 squared – 2 = 167
square of (2 to the fourth - 3) - 1 = 168
13 squared = 169

Didn't have to. Just an observation. Am I allowed to make observations, or is that against the rules?
13 squared + 2 = 171
3 to the fourth * 2 + 10 = 172
13 squared + 2 squared = 173
12 squared + 30 = 174
2 to the eight – 3 to the fourth = 175
2 to the eighth – 3 to the fourth + 1 = 176
2 to the seventh + (10 – 3) squared = 177
3 to the fifth – 2 to the sixth – 1 = 178
3 to the fifth – 2 to the sixth = 179
3 to the fifth – 2 to the sixth + 1 = 180
10 squared + 3 to the fourth = 181
