You are assuming the unemployment rate is actually at 7.8%. Since most months, if not every month, this year it has been adjusted upward ... after the announcement.

And you assumed that the high rate was due to teenagers going back to school .... then why was it constant (unchanged)?

Don't you read the fine print inside the article? Or are you just a headline guy?

Doesn't it disturb you that the Minority President hasn't done crap to increase jobs for the minorities in the country ... the traditionally lower economic groups in the country: teenagers, Blacks, and Hispanics? Doesn't that concern you at all ....

Way fewer summer jobs for those looking for them. No job before means you can't file after you don't have one.

Also keep in mind those that had been looking for jobs have just stopped looking. There are jobs out there yes, but people are not qualified for them, or just flat don't want the jobs that are open. Keep in mind it has been awhile since large scale layoffs have been occurring.

So in one regard the rate of those counted for the purpose for this report everybody is arguing over is down.

Can the numbers of that report be cooked. You bet. I bet larger adjustments have been happening during the following month or two in the last 6 years than the 6 years before then.

Are the current numbers the ones I worry about. Nope not one little moment other than to give my off the wall comments up till now.


It is the numbers that we will be looking at if the elected, current and future, officials don't do some head pulling by the end of January. Head out of ass pulling. It does not matter which party they or you are in. Both are to blame.

You know if things remain as they are till the end of January we might start hearing the word peach often.
