Rude?
I just called to tell a particular provider her website doesn't work (does not resolve) and she explained that she was busy typing and didn't have time for this. Being a webhost and webmaster I know a few things about sites not resolving (no result from ping/tracert) for instance.
The rudeness came when she didn't understand and I tried to explain. She defended the possible failure by saying it worked yesterday. The site is a subdomain off a national site that hosts thousands of other providers. I was moving toward advising her on what to do about it when the line suddenly went dead.
