I forgot about this experience...A very well known and sexy local Provider canceled on me but it was 45 minutes before and luckily I was checking my phone, etc. Needless to say I was not happy. As, this was the 2nd time attempting to see her. However, she was in an athletic event that a.m. and the time of the appt was not enough for her to recover.
Her compense? She offered the next session for FREE!!! Well, I haven't taken her up on that offer as of yet. There's just something about FREE pussy (prior Sig line, LOL). She is fine as hell. I will see her at a discount but not for FREE. And, I cannot wait to tear that pussy up (good, Prime Pussy)!

You shouldn't feel guilty at all. You became sick, there was nothing you could do about it.
Cancellations happen from both sides of the fence, it's part of this business. Life happens outside of this world and usually takes precedence over the hobby world. Who am I to question the motives behind a cancellation? In return I hope for the same respect when I cancel. I don't expect a cancellation fee, and I will rarely if ever offer a discount because I have to cancel.
It looks like I was typing as Lynn was posting pretty much my same thoughts.

Ok so what i did was sent her a PM last night before i went to bed, then texted her this morning both saying that i am feeling sick and needed to cancel, that i didnt want to get her sick. Since she is my atf, and i have seen her on the regular, i felt bad enough that i sent her $20 through paypal for cancellation. I know it's not much, but i think a 12 hours and 3 hours notice before the appointment time is appropriate, no?

You don't have to explain yourself. All that matters is that she's ok with it.

Maria it happenns on both sides. I rememebr like it was yesterday. I had to cancel on Wynterstark. Confirmed appointment and all but I had to cancel. I found an opening later on down the road and she had to cancel. Shit happens but no biggie.
Maria I am sure you will make it back and then some.

That was nice of you, personally for me I would have just been happy you didnt get me sick (that's another story lol) but simply the offer would have been good enough for me, I personally would have declined it but her situation may have been different and she needs it. For me its the thought that counts You sound like a real gentleman

Yeah she seems ok with it. She said not to worry about the money either. I guess in mu previous experience when i cancelled on a provider with a 2 hours notice, she completely cursed me out and gave me a guilt trip saying that she has bills to pay, and that she still expected me to honor the appointment. Needless to say, i never saw her again...

Uncool of her.. Her bills arent your problem. Life happens. She needs to learn to manage her money. And seriously in Syracuse all she has to do is run an ad on BP to fill it! I know exactly how it rolls in Syracuse..

I read all the time where ladies visit cities on their tours and most (if not all) of their pre-bookings either cancel or NCNS. It doesn't make sense to me how ALL of her appointments cancel unless it's hobbyists who are habitual at making appointments and cancelling or if there is some underlying scheme.
If its a lady I really want to see and just can't make it happen, I won't book the appointment. Now when she arrives, and all her appointments cancel...it leaves a bad taste in her mouth and there's a large chance that she may never want to return...which sucks for me.
Myself...I have cancelled ONE appointment with an independent provider in 9 years. If I make an appointment, I keep it.
With that being said...you can never rule out the possibility of some unforeseen circumstance that can cause a reason to cancel. Family emergencies, car accident, sudden illness....etc. If I ever call to cancel...you can believe there is a damn good reason to do so. Some guys simply, don't give a crap about you or your time. It's no skin off their nose at all...there are plenty of fish in the sea!
I think that's a shitty way to be...but it's a reality.
Now...
As mentioned earlier...I have only cancelled one appointment with no intention of re-booking. There have been a few times where I have postponed to a later time or even the next day...and I have always followed thru. That to me is not a cancellation.
As far as last minute cancellations or NCNS...I look at it like this...
If I cancel with a provider at the last minute (which I have never done), she will at the very least get a phone call or a text with a explanation as to why. She can decide at that point whether she is willing to reschedule the appointment...or not. Either way, is her decision and whatever she decides, I can live with. No hard feelings if she declines.
But...I will NOT...pay a cancellation fee for a service that I did not receive. If the cancellation is my fault, then I will make it up to her if she allows me to re-schedule...but I won't be paying no f*cking FEE!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!! FU!!!!!
How many times has a provider met me at my hotel room or in a parking lot to pay me for my wasted time and gas when she cancelled on me? Want the real answer to that one?
I have been cancelled on, stood up, left hanging...whatever you want to call it, so many times that there is no way I could begin to count. If she has enough integrity to contact me and offer to re-schedule then fine...I will give her the benefit of the doubt. If she offers a discounted rate or more time as a gesture of good will...that would definitely put a smile on my face. It would be the same as me adding to her envelope. It is a gesture....not a requirement!!!!
How many ladies out there have had to cancel an appointment and then offered to re-schedule...and been told that you were REQUIRED to give the client a certain amount of additional time or a set amount of discounted rate in order to gain the privilege of being in his presence? Please....

Exactly, berating a fella is not going to have him rushing back next time he has a break in his schedule. Just gotta let it slide off your back and just be happy he let you know ahead of time.
