My first year or so in the biz, I lied about my age but only by 2 years and not to try to fool clients but because I was paranoid about anyone in my personal life finding my stuff and realizing it was me. I thought by slightly changing a few facts, it would be less likely for anyone to put 2 and 2 together.

Again I'm doing things backwards... I kinda like the hobby beacause I feel I Dnt have to lie. I can't think of a single lie I have told a provider...civi girls...all the time.

Has cost me problems on both sides

Wow.... kinda too deep for me for a Saturday.... However, I've seen more outrageous lies outside of this hobby thing, than in it. However, I'm not necessarily here for "honesty".... ya know? I figure, some people will, some won't. I'd rather keep any lies pretty limited. Otherwise, I'll lose track! ;-)

I do tell some lies as all of us do. Mostly to protect my anonymity. Anything beyond that is just too much trouble.

If you tell a lie you gotta remember you told the lie so you don't screw up that lie with another one then they bust you on it and then you tell another lie trying to cover your ass. It gets all too hard to remember and just not worth it. Plus I have the same problem with memory as my age progress. Just like SL
