I know what it says, dude. And that ALL it says. No mention of firearms. No mention of any of that shit you guys claim.
Apparently I’m not who sucks at this.

I’ve carried “weapons of war” into wars, quite a few times. They may look similar to something you can but at Dicks but are far different functionally. The only thing identical is the round they’re chambered for, and it’s garbage in both, 300 black is far superior. The real advantage of 556 is that it’ll be easy to find in a SHTF scenario.

How much S has to hit the F for you to have enough ordinance on hand?

Poor grammar aside, I don’t know what you’re asking here. Is it when would you start shooting, or what do you (I) feel is enough ammo to survive something along the lines of a protracted power grid failure?

Do you suck at this on purpose? So, at least you agree it is not a Rod N Reel or Hunt club provision as there is no mention of woodland creatures. Yet there is contained within that very Amendment the word - Militia.
Militia
noun
- a body of citizens enrolled for military service, and called out periodically for drill but serving full time only in emergencies.
- a body of citizen soldiers as distinguished from professional soldiers.
- all able-bodied males considered by law eligible for military service.
- a body of citizens organized in a paramilitary group and typically regarding themselves as defenders of individual rights against the presumed interference of the federal government.
(Hat tip to dictionary.com)
From Federalist 46:
...Let a regular army, fully equal to the resources of the country, be formed; and let it be entirely at the devotion of the federal government; still it would not be going too far to say, that the State governments, with the people on their side, would be able to repel the danger...
I rather doubt Madison envisioned the citizenry repelling the regular federal army with fishing poles.

I think you might be referring to Teflon Coated Ammo. Kevlar is the material Body Armor is made of.

Granted, 300 blackout is a mighty fine round. What is your take on the new Sig round that the military recently started to adopt for Sig's new rifle? I understand it to be a 2 stage round?? (My Sig-nerd hasn't been around in awhile to ask)

There are many videos on that. This one seems to be ballanced and reasonably presented.

My take is that they have a cutting-edge package that could be a game changer of sorts if they pick the right war and enemy to fight. Otyher weapons will be adapted or modified to use the 6.8x51 cartridge, so logistics may be streamlined some. I have heard that NATO will go that way too.
The M-16/M-4 (in 5.56 NATO) will be kept, so there will be flexibility built in to the reserve stock of weapons.

Interesting round. I see why the SS base now. But at 80K PSI a muzzle velocity of only 2,750 FPS? Seems sluggish. I would have thought 4K FPS would be pretty snappy. Am kinda curious to see that optic though.

I am right there with you on that.
I suspect that the information on pressures and MV may be inaccurate . . .on purpose.
Only time will tell. Big Army Corp. has gon all-in and committed to buy 160,000 rifles (or so) and a huge amount of ammo, so this project will go forward. Same for the belt fed LMG and conversion sets for other heavier MGs to incl vehicle Co-Ax MGs.
Same commitment for the wiz-bang computerized optical sight and suppressor.
We all can have our skeptical opinion on all this but will have to see how it all shakes out.
Looks to me like t5he M-4 will be relegated to a secondary role that used to be filled by a sub-machinegun.
All "small-arms" weapons chambered for 7.62x51 will be rechambered or phased-out. So no M-14 based rifles. That may eventually affect the .300 Win-Mag sniper rifles too.
